Don't think for a second that's anything to do with any (false) allegations. He was never seriously suggested even before that, and rightly so.

He may have not been suggested seriously round these parts, but we've no idea if he was under consideration by those on the farm, and if so, why he has never played.

Fair enough if you don't like him, but he is bona fide legend material and has a bevy of what the young folk refer to as 'Bangers' and 'Singalongs' and would be a mega hit with the Sunday chair crowd. And I don't care what anyone says, Devil Woman is a CHOON!

I don't agree, I don't think he fits a legend slot. Just don't think he's Glastonbury tbh, Wimbledon definitely, Glastonbury no.

Vitally - SA in general has a shockingly low conviction rate as it is incredibly hard to prove in terms of evidence - 9/10 go unreported as a result of this.

More info here

What are you saying? That he actually is guilty of that rape despite the verdict?

Regardless of the verdict, he’s still a cu’nt. Showed himself to be a creepy f**ker at the NME awards and for spitting into fan’s mouths.

Indeed. And how he treated Catherine Ryan.

really, really odd behaviour to come on to this thread gloating after the trail and asking for peoples apologies.

He was trying to do a bit with Catherine Ryan and not doing it very well. He wasn't actually trying to seduce her.

Yet we all went to see Rolf Harris everytime he played Glasto.

Slowthai definitely has his demons and issues and that NME showing was definitely below the belt. I know many acts  -  especially in the metal scene who have done worse than spit in fans mouths!

I hope he can move on and channel those demons because UGLY was close to a masterpiece and if he wasnt wrongly accused of rape then i think it would have been viewed that way and won a lot of awards.

Can you point to an example of that happening _after_ the allegations against him were widely known?

I don't think anyone would overlook the allegations against Rolf in 2024.

Or in 2014, for that matter, as you well know.

Trying to use "well people loved Rolf" to suggest hypocrisy here was dumb. Nobody loved Rolf once they knew about him.

It was more tongue in cheek than dumb but nevermind.

the rest of my comment still stands, which is the main crux of it as it’s all the part of the comment relevant to Slowthai
