People are suggesting that U2 or the Foo Fighters do the Legends Slot and that Bono headliners the Acoustic Tent with a book reading

i.e. January Cabin Fever has well and truly set in.

i think one of them is more likely to be a gnr replacement, after glasto realised how bad it is.

No, they're still in, according to Neil...

Unless it's Mik Artistic, Billy Brag, Elton or Fatbot Slim at this point. Take no notice of anything he puts as a TBC.

He's managed to mess that up this year already before the festival even announced an act officially.

So can you just tell us who’s potentially headlining.

am, gnr, u2, foos

(unless you think u2 and foos wouldn't be headlining if they're on the bill).

AM - Fred Again

Foos - Lizzo - Capaldi

Elton - The Prodigy

GnR legend slot.

after last nights announcements from Foos, it’s how I expect it to go.

lizzo was set to b e before gnr so might not be Saturday if there's no gnr.

GnR unquestionably shouldnt be headlining. Ancient dinosaurs decades past their sell by date but Emily seems to want them and its her festival innit.

they should give someone a bump up.

Axl lost his voice on their tour last year and they are notoriously late on stage too. Bin them off for me. Not that they will be

You didn’t say that either, you stated that your source didn’t clarify and that both Capaldi and Lizzo were on the pyramid the same day as GNR

    • Orbital opening the Other stage is a bold choice!
    • Great start for them
    • Thanks so much - that's very helpful. Someone else mentioned getting a train from Loughborough to East Midlands Parkway, and then a festival shuttle from there to the site. I think they were then going to come back on the Skylink Derby to Loughborough - I assume this is because the trains don't run as late as the Skylink, otherwise they would just come back the same way they came?! Is the transport hub a long way from the main stage? Just wondering what time I would need to leave Linkin Park to be sure of getting a shuttle. As I say, I am sure it will all be clear on the day, even after a few beers! Just hope the rain stays away...
    • I really don't think they would put Olivia Rodrigo on Occident stage. If it was her, they would put her in earlier Mordor slot and move Big Thief or Little Simz to Occident.   Fontaines DC are more probable, but don't really match the hype. However, again, if the hype was real, the artist would end up in Mordor.   That being said, I would love to see Fontaines DC tonight.
    • After all the good advice on here I had a nice visit to the site earlier in the week.    Walked down from Pilton village to Hitchen Hill and down the footpath to the Wood by Woodies.    Really strange seeing the site empty of 100,000 people. There is far more hedges and woodland on the site than you remember when the festival is on. Can see the stone circle and some structures still up on site. And looks like Worthy View has some camping going on there during the summer too.   Lots was fenced off with electric fencing to help wth the cattle grazing. Is really amazing how they set up the site as its hard enough accessing the area by car and foot nevermind all the kit needed to set the festival up. As others said you can't walk the whole site but nice to see the site again after a few years away   Pilton is also a lovely village with a nice village hall shop and post office attached, and got to speak to some locals who told me a few tales of past festivals down the years. One house for sale there would be lovely to live in - if only I had £2 million going spare
