I failed on all the uk sales i had codes for 😞

I had an option on some high up seated tickets which looked at best, level with the front of the stage, but possibly behind the front but when i released those there was nothing left.

Only Paris to try

I was wait listed so never even had a chance to try for tickets but my partner had codes and did not manage to get any as we were not going to pay the crazy VIP prices. My own fault, I should have tried to get on the pre-sale.

It feels like the world has gone mad over this tour and I know people who have tried to get tickets who never go to concerts and are not even that big fans of Taylor. There is some serious FOMO going on with this tour and everyone seems to be whipped up to get tickets at any price. I really feel for those who have kids who are fans when they see that all there seems to be are silly priced VIP.

I would love to know what the ratio of "standard tickets" to" VIP is?

Oh well, I will keep an eye out for re-sales on Ticketmaster and AXS and twickets and see if I can pick some reasonable priced tickets at a later date.

Its probably 10% or so. Everyones freaking out because its a 3 hour concert. Even though Beyonce ( for 2 shows ) was borderline 3 hours this tour.  Whenever she decides to tour normally again theres possibly going to be a lack of demand and complaints about only performing 2 hours.

Or because its her first UK tour in 5 years (6 when it actually happens) and her stock has increased immensely since then thanks to a lot of people who wouldn't of normally gotten into her music, started listening after Folklore. While also having 4 albums of material to use. Also the hype around her re-releases, which has crossed again passed 'mainstream pop' and into more varied groups of people.

That and its a greatest hits show, which she has never done before.

I'm in a 'gig going' group of friends, there's about 20 of us in a Whatsapp group. Mainly punk/alt rock gigs is what we go to. No one (at least admittedly) listened to Taylor before Folklore. Every single one of us tried for tickets in the Midnights presale. With most having bought all 4 albums since her last tour.

Will her next tour in the UK be less demanding than this one? Probably because more people are gonna tick her off their lists of 'one to see', but I don't think its going to be drastic. She'll still be selling out UK stadiums 3-5 years after this tour, or when ever her next big tour is.

Her next tour won’t have the same impact for a bunch of reasons - the pent up demand post Covid, the influx of Folklore/Evermore types, the fact that this is a career-sweep. It’s also kind of why everyone wants to go this time - it’s got that once in a generation big tour feel, it’s MJ at Wembley, it’s Oasis at Knebworth, it’s Prince’s O2 Residency

Nobody knows how its going to be after this. You could be anyone that had the covid bump and then youll have to fall back down to earth at one point or another. The smart move is likely to do what U2 did which was go back to arenas for a tour just for intimacy purposes. Then you do the big places again. Cause whenever that time comes you will have more advancements in production and another in the round show can be attempted.   But I guess the one thing is right now those handful of people who thought they were going to have an easy time getting a ticket  for this tour are sweating bullets now.

also this is interesting. Either Bey or Taylor. If its Taylor then there is really just no end in sight to the money train. This thing is going into 2025 just based on the timing.

Sorry if it’s mentioned here, but there were loads of VIP package seats left for Amsterdam last week. Yesterday all the verified fans had an email to say “new regular seats will be available from 10am CEST” obviously we won’t know if they’ve downgraded some VIP packages until the sale happens at 9am uk time but interesting if they’ve done that so soon! Hope for all those wanting tickets but rightly refusing the £600 price point.

I'm on the booking screen for paris and i see nothing available.  nothing on the tickets page to pick from and the package page is blank.  do you get the same?

Was able to reserve the Ready For It package but I could not log in to Ticketmaster.fr as the UK and GB were not on the country list! My other Ticketmaster passwords did not work. Disappointing but I do have Edinburgh and Vienna to look forward to so I am not that upset.

update!  I kept trying and after a while the ticket screen (as opposed to packages)  allowed me to enter the code and i now have 4 front standing tickets!

Was that for the Saturday or the Thursday? I was only seeing packages for saturday (to be honest if I get through again I'm sure that is all that will be left)

    • No dramas man, I just like to follow others journeys as well. Get the inspiration, give out inspiration and the outdoors is the clear the head place to do it. I'm heading out for a easy trail run today I think, 10k- 10 mile we'll see how we go. I've got a half marathon in October I'm well unprepared for hahs
    • The Cheap Thrills at Mountford Hall, Liverpool.    They've been around for a while and have built up a large local following. Last night was their biggest yet, at a sold out 2,200 capacity venue.    It was a big old joyous, indie singalong from start to finish, the band clearly having the time of their lives. The debut album is out next month and they seem to be going down well on the festival circuit, maybe their time has finally come.   2 supports, I unfortunately missed Credits but the few songs they have on Spotify sound good, Americana vibes. The other was M60, reportedly Gary Neville's favourite band. If that's true, he's as clueless about music as he is football. To be fair, their sound was poor, maybe with a clearer sound they'd have been better but it was pretty dull.
