Going back to the medley talk, I'd honestly take a couple of them just to get through some of the hits she might not play otherwise - would rather hear a verse and a chorus rather than nothing at all. I don't know how she's gonna manage though, gonna be some serious cuts I fear (and that's with me having gone to the Reputation tour)

Folklore and Evermore are ripe for medleys, unfortunately. I think Cardigan and Exile get played in full but then 5 or 6 more will get rattled through as medleys.

I’m ngl I’m not feeling hopeful. Feel like swifties will pay whatever price they need to pay to get in as well.

Reputation tour was £120 for floor tickets - front side block seats At Wembley stadium

I wonder if she will do a full uk stadium tour , it’s not something she has ever done before or shown Interest in doing

I think if she doesn't it'll be a mess. Needs a Harry Styles/ Ed Sheeran size tour. 4 night's at Wembley with 2 or so at others.

People are saying it's onlt ticketmaster that do it, so try Seetickets. That's what I'll be trying i think

Yeah but you've had it if the act only goes through TM, which some do

Usually there's at least one other option, and it's determined by some combination of the Promoter and the Venue.

Springsteen at Villa Park for example primarily used AXS, but also Ticketmaster and TheTicketFactory - the latter being much easier due to less awareness. His other UK shows each had a different combination - the Edinburgh show I think was on Seetickets.

Ticket Factory are great for Birmingham gigs.

make sure it's the deluxe edition - The Lakes ❤️

Taylor is the master of the b-side, deluxe edition stuff. The Lakes is one of the best tracks on that record. And then New Romantics, Wonderland, You Are In Love…Imagine not being able to squeeze those tracks on to your records?!

    • Its just going to be another dementia tax isn't it? The issue is this is going to be seen as a continuation of the labour government that have already raised taxes 1000% above manifesto promises.
    • One thing that Burnham has been talking about is scrapping inheritance tax and replace it with a social care levy ... which would be less progressive, but might be a good idea if was a solution for the social care crisis. Would need to sell it well to a public who would prefer not to pay more tax.
    • Maybe you should put your name forward to be Burnham's chancellor.
    • But I think the point of that Dan Needle tax thing...we need to put up income tax, for all incomes (and thresholds should be unfrozen).
    • There are no easy answers...more than anything we need growth...and probably main ways of getting that is borrowing more to invest in stuff that makes us super sexy, and/or cut taxes on business and wealth generation which would mean less money to spend on public services and welfare and would obviously be super unpopular and get you chucked out of govt. On top of all that got an aging population, a growing welfare bill, a call for higher spending on defence, housing inequality, higher borrowing costs, and probably a load more sh*t on the way due to the Iran war (although so far it hasn't been that bad?)
