cmonnn sziget give us Lil Tjay, Robin Schulz, Meduza, W&W, San Holo......

W&W are playing at Balaton Sound this year... so no, in the other hand, Meduza and Robin Schulz played at Balaton Sound last year and considering that they are at FM4Frequency this year I think those two are very likely to be at Sziget.

So, Limp Bizkit again? FB_IMG_1676016067000.thumb.jpg.e73e56206fcbff488ec407910de0b24b.jpg

ok lemme scream it again : ROBIN fuckin' SCHULZ please ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ..... He could be the 'Alan Walker' of this edition ^^

I love almost everything this guy do : "on repeat" (with David Guetta by the way..), "miss you", "young right now", "in your eyes" , etc.... damn ❤️🥰❤️

Can someone please confirm that there's absolutely no way that Limp Bizkit are classed as headliner level in Budapest? I'd take them as sub (but would be elsewhere) but if they were headliner I really believe it would be detrimental to the festival.

No way they are headliner. Last time they played at 17:30 I think.

they must be struggling with the line up...

it seems that August 2023 isn't THAT full of different opportunities, and Sziget might just looks like the others fests' (rock en seine, reading & leeds, ...) I'm sure they tried some exclusivities, but we should keep our expectations a bit lower than expected..

I actually quite fancy some of the headliners at other fests in August, would quite happily take The Strokes, The Killers, Blur or The Chemical Brothers. Throw in Placebo, Bicep, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Turnstile, Girl In Red, Wet Leg, Tom Grennan or Bonobo and job done.

Would prefer Green Day or Lizzo or even Red Hot Chili Peppers, but if we don't get them but do get a strong undercard I'll be happy enough. Already pretty happy with the acts announced, give me four or five of those mentioned above and it'll be a good year.

As usual, might I add.

August's circuit is usually less crowded compared to June-July's. Can't tell why, maybe it's because there are more main festival  during june-july (PS, MC, RW, etc.)

All the big traditional fest are in june/July, likes of Glastonbury/roskilde/werchter.

    • And how was the sound? We ended up on the left side of the stage (first seating places were behind us), so the view was quite OK, just the sound was terrible (and very quiet). Which is very strange because the sound during Rusowsky was amazing and we had much worse spot (we were sitting on the hill under the big palm, so the view wasn't ideal).   Also, she wasn't like my most anticipated artist of the day and if the cost for a good spot at PinkPantheress is missing Jade's Angel of My Dreams, I'm not willing to pay it.   Yeah, with lineup like this, it's always about setting your priorities.
    • Would love them there but they are that odd situation where they probably aren't well known enough to headline Pyramid but can't see them saying yes to Other Stage.
    • Top 10:   1. The Cure  2. Gelli Haha 3. Olivia Rodrigo  4. Dijon 5. Ninajirachi  6. Oklou 7. Gorillaz 8. Viagra Boys  9. Sudan Archives 10. Men I Trust   If I'm allowed to include Model/Actriz, then slot them in at 7th
    • Madonna is the wildest of wild card calls!
    • Would they accept anything other than a headlining slot?  Would the festival offer them enough money?  Have they got neough bangers to nail a two hour Pyramid set?  I'm a fan and I'd say the likely answer to all of these is no.
