I would love Sziget to bring back "Day 0" and the festival to take place actually between the 9th and the 15th of August, returning to 7 days.

Me too, but the 6-days-only bit was a mandatory one in the long term contract they signed with the city council.

it only confirms that the fest' will happen from 10th to 15th August lol... as soon as it is official, I change my flights (if possible..) !

(But I wouldn't say no to Green Day to be honest... 🙂

Going to cost us £300 to change ours. Really hope they're not doing it as I fear the backlash will overwhelm the line-up announcement.

Gampel Openair (17-20th August, Switzerland) — Macklemore, Cypress Hill, Tom Walker, Alle Farben and many local names.

They have a whole section dedicated to the date change in the info section on the website, this is really bad from them.

"I’ve already got my flight tickets, what can I do?

That seriously sucks for people with travel and accommodation pre booked. Interesting to see who the headliner for the 15th will be though.... Better be something crazy good to justify this.

I think that’s shocking that; they’ll have known about it well in advance of this that they had to change the dates so it should have been announced as such.

I remember when Werchter changed the dates by a whole weekend for 2015 just to accommodate the Foos (which worked out well…) but they at least announced it months before confirming any bands so people had time to change plans.
