  1. I recommend Iamyank on the Europe /Buzz stage. He is basically a legend in the Hungarian underground electronic scene. Basically all of the upcoming electronic musicians learned the "business" in his producer school. His music is not dance music tho, but he will bring the live performance of his most recent album with two drummers, it f**king slaps. Also God Is An Astronaut plays the same stagr that day.
  2. Fred Again.. is a cheap guy, and doesnt like to eat overly expensive food.
  3. I understand where you are coming from, but let me assure you, that this lineup WILL NOT be a commercial success. Just look at ticketswap. Right now you can buy a 6-day pass more than 30 percent under the current official price. ATM there are nearly 500 6 day passes selling. What would you say how many people are buying new tickets right now and after seeing the line up? This generation thing is a bullshit. Young people can and do love "old" music, it just have to be good music.
  4. We will probably get disappointed anyway, so no real difference.
  5. YES! Personally I could see a post-rock band every night haha 😄 Gonna see Godspeed this Sunday, so f**king hyped
  6. I dont know, I find it very dangerous to be this optimistic after what went down with this year's lineup 😄
  7. Air countinues their tour through August. I guess we gonna miss them too 😄
  8. Value-wise, of course, but in absolute terms, this is huge money for a teenager or a uni student in Hungary. For most Sziget goers from that population, Sziget is their only holiday for the year/summer, they cannot afford the two. It was for me anyway
  9. Sziget group got f**ked by covid real hard, and understandably so. I dont know much about other European governments, but I can imagine they at least offered so financial help for the festivals. Here it was nothing. Combine that with the general inflation in Hungary, the weakening of the forint, the inflation within the music industry and the deteriation of the consumer power and here we are. Very sad to see honestly. 2018 and 2019 was prime time for Sziget, they were definitely a top 5 festival in Europe, and now its just like any average happening. And honestly, being "cheap" just wont work out, its not going to engage customers, people wont be coming back - understandably so. It wont work, you either go big and build something big or sort of die, or just become small and irrelevant.
  10. his album "Rounds" got me into electronic music after being a deluded hater of "computer garbage". the man is a genius and a legend. he honestly never even made just average music, always interesting and innovating. his new album just got out, and it doesnt disappoint. its his 12th record as Four Tet.. so glad to see him, and honestly I hope all Fred, Skrillex and him will have their own set, with their own music.
  11. Im sorry mate, but you have to be at least mildly naive to think its going to get any better with a third wave announcement
  12. we will probably have to go to Europe stage to hear some guitars
  13. I understand. still shame tho. the quality drop compared to '18 and '19 is shocking. I know, covid f**ked sziget hard, etc. but this is sad. two-three whole categories below and worse
  14. headliners is one thing. could be better, but its not really amazing anywhere this summer. but oh man the undercards, so many f**king amazing bands all around, and Sziget could get maybe 2 or 3. where are all the instruments, eh?
