Lighter than boots but sturdy soles and waterproof if the weather decides to d@b down.

Would rather have sometging like a Vibram sole to deal with things like the woodchip and the rubble on the slopes up to the railway track. I'll wear walking boots most of the weekend but by Sunday my feet are in pieces and need something lighter/breathable.

coma girl
I do not want any rain at all but if we had some the only plus I can see is that it would calm down the dust a bit, I am thinking I might keep a face mask on me for walking along the railway line as the dust was so bad last year. I actually felt like I could still taste it a day or two later.

I can only imagine it was the dust on the plus side I barely needed to use any dry shampoo when I was there.

My mouth and throat were definitely irritated by the dust, I noticed the same thing when I helped someone move house a few months later and I was shifting around lots of dusty boxes. balti-pie
I love listening to a drop of rain on the tent, so im willing to accept a daily 20 min shower at some point between 7.30 and 8.30, to make my morning ablutions seem heroic - and to keep the dust down. then it can climb to a max of 24 degrees with scattered clouds and patches of bright sunshine. suntan lotion is just about justified, but it doesnt need re-applying, and i wont be all manky and sticky. Thats what i request, and i will take no further questions (or abuse) on this matter.

Crazyfool01
i think itll be harder to find people that didnt bring back covid than those that did . however the dust does seem to cause people some issues

squirrelarmy
It was definitely Covid and not dust last year. I’ve done dusty festivals and last year was nothing in comparison.
