CD Swap 2022

Now we're pretty sure that Glastonbury 2022 is a go, @vintagelaureate has handed on the baton to me for this, and it's time once more to start the CD swap thread.

Although we appreciate that interest in physical CDs has waned massively from when this idea first started, there's still a few of us who are a bit old school and like the shiny things.

So we will be once more looking for interested parties.  To quote the 2019 thread, which @vintagelaureatequoted directly from the 2017 thread -

The idea is that you reply to this thread if you want to take part. Then make a CD mix of confirmed 2017 Glastonbury artists, I'll separate everyone groups of 4, you swap addresses in PM with the rest of your group, then post em out. You then receive 3 analogue, old school, compact disc playlists to listen to in the last couple of weeks running up to the festival!

Many people will be doing spotify lists and the like, and of course there is the amazing work carried out by @Brave Sir Robin on that front, so they can all be shared, but this is for physical product only.

 Any questions, let me know!

This was the 2019 thread for anyone interested

Yes count me in.

I shall be doing another 'needledrops' edition - 100% sourced from vinyl.

I was in your group in 2016.  I just found the CD now and re-read your liner notes regarding the needledrop manifesto, which is really interesting to understand the effort put into this.  Whoever get the 2022 edition is in for a treat I imagine.

Just listening to it again and sounds great.

Thanks very much. Yes, I have been digging out my 2016 CDs and re-listening too. I haven't got to yours yet, but my memory is that all of them were great. This is well worth it for anyone still undecided.
