I work tangentially for a few very very big artists (including a recent glasto headliner) so sometimes know of new albums ahead of time and I’m always tempted to do a little leak on here but I never have the balls. So props to you!

Thank you, it’s descended into a joke , but I am being honest! I accept a few mistakes but every artist on there is playing

Dunno how I feel about The 1975 subbing Elton

I mean...I'd be at the Pyramid for the whole day if that leak was true which is unheard of for me and not something I would have wanted. The field would be absolutely packed the whole day but if the 1975 were going to sub anyone, Elton is the only person. I feel like they would really want to play the festival and they'd be too big for the other stage. So it could well be their slot 🤷🏼‍♀️

There’s something special going on with them - idk what it is, maybe they have managed to make the pyramid into their recent live show? Maybe they have a secret set also? I THINK Taylor bailed and Matty wanted the call (he should have got) but they went with GNR hoping 1975 would sub Elton. This is speculation based on some stuff I know though

The 1975 subbing Elton John is crazy strong, and wildly disappointing for their own headline chances. (Unless they are banking on one of the main three dropping out, but hey ho.)

    • New Overmono album is... just good for me. Had high hopes which were later dashed a bit after listening to some of the singles but they brought me back around enough to appreciate some very nice work in there. https://music.apple.com/ie/album/pure-devotion/1894298100
    • I don't really worry about headliners (unless there's a real possibility of a once-in-a-lifetime artist landing for it) but I'm starting to feel a bit cold on the names floating around bar Fontaines.  Harry Styles and Sam Fender, I can see the value and commercially speaking, they've earned it.  Sabrina Carpenter is obviously popular enough to do it - but after she's headlined everywhere else and done Coachella earlier this year, is it not just a bit predictable to follow what other festivals have done?
    • Bollocks to “safe” headliners, bollocks to the masses. Get interesting, get risky, challenge people.
    • The Cure would be a dream, I can definitely see them doing a second run of festivals they may have missed this year and they seem the definitive Latitude act  If they do festivals next year maybe The Strokes could be a shout? Im stunned either them or Kings of Leon haven't played yet This is a great shout for names, youre right that CMAT is taking a year out though - we're like to know more in the autumn when festivals start making announcements  The only other act I'd really love to see is Idles headline the tent
    • Very sad for Greazy Alice
