same thought I had in mind but sziget is really not on kings of Leon website so it made think Maybe 🤷🏻‍♂️

With a lot bands it takes time for them to update their tour schedule. It will be there before Sziget.

i think we might expect new names next week or the week after. A lot main stage, A38, party Arena and coloseum names are still missing.

so @Sziget2022_Leaks are you ready to play with us again?

they answered me about it.

there are lockers outside the camps and we'll pay for them at the spot

At the spot? Sounds like a bad idea to wait till the day of the festival to know if I can buy a locker😔

At least we'll see some of these acts in the following wave I guess (Flow, Oya, Way Out West, Pukkelpop & Reading).

All in the subheadliner/lower bill category, so it should make sense.

  • Michael Kiwanuka
  • Fred Again
  • Aurora
  • First Aid Kit
  • AJ Tracey
  • Pa Salieu
  • Parquet Courts
  • Perfume genius

Royal Blood and Foals are in Europe in July, what are the odds they're gonna join Sziget as well?🤞🤞

Really hoping for another rock/indie rock artists

I would say there's zero chance any of those two are playing. Both bands are doing June/July festivals and don't seem to have any plans for August. Foals were meant to play Grape festival in Slovakia in 2020 (as well as Sziget) but it was confirmed by the organizers that they won't be back this year.

Lower your expectations. We're missing only one subheadliner and A38 doesn't have that many 'big' names nowadays. I can see only one or two acts from your list being added but most likely we'll get none of them.

Marc rebillet😍

Florence + The Machine and Michael Kiwanuka preformed in the last festival, I doubt they'll bring them again.. although I would love to see them again of course

I like Open'er lineup way more than Sziget's one.

Totally different festivals, opener is more in line with werchter.

I've always looked at open'er, the shocking alcohol policy in the arena puts me off and kills the festival vibe and spirit.

    • Sure enough I did finish the Brosnan Bonds. Goldeneye is good but I think might be overrated by some Bond mega-fans, The World Is Not Enough is ok but nothing more than that and Die Another Day is just wild. I didn't hate Die Another Day like some have but its basically a wacky sci-fi film with Bond movie clothes.
    • Monaco comes across to me as something that's great for just watching people driving around, especially this year as it feels like this is a track where they can actually push compared to other circuits where superclipping ruins it, but where the cars seem to have outgrown it.   Though tbf Formula E has had decent Monaco races recently so maybe its a sign of car development philosophy being a factor.
    • Feel like a lot of people do just sit around by the stage at a festival waiting for one act anyway, no? I know Swift has a big mega-fandom - she wouldn't have done so many Wembley shows last year if she didn't - but it's not like she'd be unique in playing a festival and drawing a crowd on that specific day just for her.   But then tbf I feel like there'd be a few happy just to mosy around the rest of the site until maybe 2/3 acts beforehand.
    • Pretty good imo. Though I'm aware my position of being a big fan means I'm biased.   Reminds me a little of Justice, which shouldn't be that much of a surprise given I've heard Justice played a lot in Muse's pre-show playlists over the years.
