Thanks for the broad explanation. As this was my first SZiget I know can see what it feels like if you go each year. Although my experiences were quite positive I am not thinking about buying tickets immediately. I really need to wait for the line up.

Well I had the VIP upgrade. I was happy with it. I could easier get a drink, go to the toilet and didn’t have to worry about a good view for the MainStage act. There was also very good food at the VIP area. I compare it to festivals in my own neighbourhood and then this is what I expected for VIP not more than that. Would I do it again? Really depends on how much I can spend , how long I go and how high the price will be.

SZiget is an amazing festival. *The festival made me dance during Dua Lipa and Calvin Harris. *The festival learned me a lot due to the NGO Island . *The festival made me taste a lot of new food and try some new special dishes. *The festival made me laugh a lot during the amazing comedy show in Magic Mirror. * The festival made me experience new cultures at the Vietnamese Theatre. * The festival amazed me at the circus shows. * The festival made me feel the big techno beats at Colosseum. *The festival gave me a lot of stamps. * The festival made me discover a lot of new bands. * The festival served me big act after big act. * The festival gave me new international friends. * The festival showed me that I still believe in humanity and that we can still solve things together. Whether you are from the USA, Brazil , Hungary or The Netherlands in the end we all want the same in the world . Let’s hope some politicians take these messages . Thank you SZiget and see you soon!

This was my first SZiget. After being to Tomorrowland, Pinkpop and other quite big festivals I can say that SZiget has become my favourite festival so far. Okay yeah…there was a lot of dust but the organisation can’t help this and this has to do with the extreme heat and drought through the whole of Europe. During Pinkpop it was 36 degrees celcius and that was also unpleasant. As it was my first time I can’t compare it with previous editions but I didn’t miss a lot of decorations.

I still love the festival . I think it shows the tensions there are alround the world right now but still every person from a different country is able to party and celebrate together. Think there should me more events like this spread through the world.

True…interesting is that he also had voice problems at the end of June. He didn’t perform at Rock Werchter. Quite weird that he has so often voice problems.

Decided to visit the National Vietnamese Puppetry Theatre today instead of Kings Of Leon. I have seen KOL already . And wow! Love those international performances and the puppet theatre is really worth the visit!

Well…talking about crowded. I was on the VIP deck and had a good view. I saw people being trampled underneath because it was so crowded on the MainStage field.

I never heard of Rufus Du Sol and I think they were amazing….

And sun cream? I think that should be accepted 👀

Finally going this afternoon. An important question tho: Are you allowed to bring bags to the festival area( if you are not a camping visitor) Can’t see it anywhere on the site?

As Hungary has a different currency I was wondering how other European people do this.

Some practical questions: Do you guys pay with cash money in Budapest ? I know that SZiget is cashless or are there a lot of restaurants where you can also pay with card?

You don’t know the personal reasons why someone might book this late. Maybe there wasn’t a guarantee to go. At least he/she asks for help.

No worries! Maybe take a flight from Cologne to Budapest with Ryan Air? It’s a drive from Amsterdam to cologne but there are options to park there. Check the website of Ryan air and you will see it’s still available.

After songs being used of Tyler The Creator and Labyrnth don’t get hope. Harry styles won’t be there. Simply impossible.

Smaller? Compared it to the other passports of previous years? To me it seems like the exact same looking at size. Why do you wonder it’s smaller?

The theme parties are not gone they are just replaced with something else. “Singing together” or something else. Looking at durability and climate change it’s maybe wise to not do a colour party or flag party. Imagine the amount of plastics or chemicals it costs to make those items.
