New name for Firenze Rocks coming on Monday 3 pm. For Friday, 17.06.2022. Could be someone we know (Nick Cave, Muse, RHCP) or a new name for summer 2022.

3 pm could be someone with a joint world tour annoucement.

What was learned in the old topic (RW 2021) here on the website would be like this:

Thursday - PJ
Friday - Metallica
Saturday: Gorillaz
Sunday: RHCP

2020: PJ - Strokes - Kendrick - SOAD

2021: Metallica - RHCP - Gorillaz - RATM

PJ were already announced for 2021, RATM could not and cannot for 2022.

It's what 2021 would have looked like without cancellation of 2020 (PJ would have played 2020 obviously). And RATM had European shows announced for August/September 2020 and planned for June/July 2021.

Muse

I love Muse, BUT we have a two year forced break from festivals, leading to a vast array of headliners for future editions and a positive effect (in my opinion) of not having to book the same headliners over and over again. And we possibly get the same headliner they had at the last edition of Werchter in 2019? I certainly hope not. I'd love for Muse to headline again, but make it 2023, '24 or even '25.

I'm sure what I'm saying is Muse that Firenze Rock will announce today.
But you're right, I didn't want Muse on RW.

It's already online: https://www.muse.mu/tour

But this is not really relevant for Rock Werchter, since they played last time (with RW as their only festival). (On top of that Muse didn't sell out their day in 2019)

You could be right. There is still technically a chance though since they play in France on 3rd of July 2022 and no visible dates before.

No Kendrick Lamar

Will I ever see this man live, a question I have been asking myself since I had to cancel the day I had planned at Les Ardentes 2015 3 days prior.

The wait goes on...
