I’d say both were a distinct possibility. The festival will know they need to book them when they can.

I must be the american that just destroys the mood here on such a momentous day of another headliner being pencilled in.  BUT, there is a hold for the 25th of June for Elton at Hyde Park.  I guess Matt likes me now and Hugh will shake his fist and we will not get these two superpowers wrestling each other with joy of getting what they want but thats how it stands for now.

If Elton is playing Hyde on the Saturday too I’d imagine Glasto is off. But we will see.

Doing 2 nights in a row plenty of times in arenas.

But not 3 in a row, so a second BST date, if it happens, would probably be the end of Glasto.

Yeah on the arenas this year, but his run of stadium shows next summer are just one and on to the next one. He isn’t doing consecutive nights anywhere.

Not sure he could sell two nights at Hyde Park anyway after shifting 200k tickets for London this November.

Excuse me? 2 sold out nights at Dodger Stadium at the end of the U.S stadium run. Should be about 50,000 a night.

 

Like I said, on hold. This is gonna be the Billie Eilish thing again where it takes a minute. Im sure Ill find out if its going to get announced or not, so pray it doesnt.
