Love that, they have a lot of hard work ahead of them, not only dealing with the virus, the economy etc but also having to undo all the damage Trump did.  Kamala Harris will have a pivotal part to play in making a success of this presidency.

And still waiting for any reaction from Johnson.

Indeed. I note that Kier Starmer has tweeted already @Ozanne

Still nothing from Boris Johnson.

Probably busy bricking it now his Brexit plans have to be adjusted, just as Farage returns to UK politics to scream 'betrayal/sell-out'

Wow, on the news seeing all these groovy urban types celebrating. I thought US was just full of gun toting racist rednecks after the last few years.

Nice to see the young uns celebrations, the only fear I have is that some of those gun toting racist rednecks decide to take to the streets as well.

Boris has just put up a half-arsed pre-prepared congratulatory message.

Prefer Sir Keir’s:

Excellent response from Sir Keir, the only ray of hope on the Boris one is the mention of climate change. Hopefully Biden signs up to the Paris agreement after trump refusing to do it.

I reckon there could be a chance, seemingly the next president is always an emphasis of the previous ones weaknesses (like how Trump doesn’t know what he’s doing but Biden is a seasoned politician) and with a lot of Biden‘s complaints are he’s not left enough.

Apparently the other week he range Bernie Sanders and said he wanted to be the most radical president since FDR.  We'll see.

    • Based on previous times that rules quite a lot out of early summer festivals into the August runs.
    • No dramas man, I just like to follow others journeys as well. Get the inspiration, give out inspiration and the outdoors is the clear the head place to do it. I'm heading out for a easy trail run today I think, 10k- 10 mile we'll see how we go. I've got a half marathon in October I'm well unprepared for hahs
    • The Cheap Thrills at Mountford Hall, Liverpool.    They've been around for a while and have built up a large local following. Last night was their biggest yet, at a sold out 2,200 capacity venue.    It was a big old joyous, indie singalong from start to finish, the band clearly having the time of their lives. The debut album is out next month and they seem to be going down well on the festival circuit, maybe their time has finally come.   2 supports, I unfortunately missed Credits but the few songs they have on Spotify sound good, Americana vibes. The other was M60, reportedly Gary Neville's favourite band. If that's true, he's as clueless about music as he is football. To be fair, their sound was poor, maybe with a clearer sound they'd have been better but it was pretty dull.
    • I can see them all merging along with the Tory’s . Restore curently couldn’t muster enough candidates to be a viable option . I lasted 4 mins and couldn’t watch any more . Lowe is just dull along with racist
