It would be fair to say I have some views on the refereeing performance in tonight’s Man Utd v West Brom match.

I would elaborate further but I fear Neil would ban me for excessive use of violent sexual language.

Wonderful ref...

Have they had a few in cups as well? It seemed way more in my head!

They've had 2 in the champions, again for comparison purposes Chelsea have had 3.

Always more focus on united, that being said we had a lot of penalties last season. This season though, its pretty even with a few clubs.

Surprised no one has mentioned amount Leicester get, until later perhaps.

Libpool were excellent yesterday, I was a bit worried going into the game but it was as easy a win as we've had in a long time.

Just need to keep Fabinho and Matip fit, that's not going to be easy.

Interesting interview Klopp gave Sky after the game which they didn't show. The sound isn't great but...

The cycling guy who wrote about Liverpool's fitness regime and ahem unusually large amount of 'asthmatics' pre-season said it was unsustainable this year due to the fixture congestion and would result in loads of injuries.

If the clubs want a better schedule, take less money from the broadcasters and retain more control over scheduling. I have little sympathy for the big boys here.

Poor big team with their huge squad filled with players having to actually suffer injuries.

    • I agree that we’ll never really know up until the concert happens (and even then we still may not know) but I think promoters are having to come up with new tactics to combat ‘blue dot fever’ (already hating that phrase!) and trying to imply that concerts are selling better than they actually are / available tickets are in short supply is definitely one of them.    To add though, it is quite common at the O2 Arena for the rear blocks to not go on sale (and then remain closed for the concert and covered over to hide the empty seats). And equally common for standing to sell out first, then side/lower tier seating next and rear/upper tier seating last.    Jungle’s two concerts at the O2 are a good comparison for this - for their 1st (announced) date, all blocks are on sale and seats in all sections remain unsold, whereas for their 2nd date, the rear blocks are greyed out (more so than for Muse) and equally lots of seats remain unsold in the blue blocks. Standing for both concerts are showing as sold out.
    • MGK can and should headline. I was at one of his shows earlier in the year as a very casual fan, and there were a lot of alt people there. The show was actually class and he completely won me over. Anyone who opposes him headlining is just a gatekeeper imo, we need to move with the times.
    • Ultimately Glasto is just part of the festival circuit, however special we may think it is. The vast majority of its headliners have done many others
    • From Magyar’s FB:   ”Our country's energy and water supply is stable. As of today, voluntary consumption reduction is no longer necessary. The turbine at the Paks power plant is generating stably. Thanks to precipitation in Austria, the water level of the Danube will temporarily rise by 20–30 centimeters. Thank you, Hungary, for the unprecedented national unity shown in recent days! We have much to be proud of, and much to carry forward into the period ahead.”
    • I hope it stays under £400.  A lot of us aren't flush with cash.  Charities are great but do they need £1 mil (I jest)
