Well this seems reasonable as it’s your pitch anyway and it’s not really affecting anyone else.

Can’t stress enough that people in general camping setting up a tent where someone else could have camped just so they don’t have to walk to/queue at the toilets is selfish as hell, not to mention how gross it is for neighbours. Be dead embarrassing if they have to put out a notice reminding punters that tents are for people and not for shitbuckets.

Imagine being the poor unbeknownst fucker who camps next to it. ?

Like that tent in dairy in 2015 I'm sure. A tent right by the exhaust of the generator or something incredibly petrolly and black smoke  smelly for a stall or ice-cream van. I'm sure they went home with black lung. I had to hold my breath just to pass by. Memory fades but the smell doesn't.

Usually if you tweet anything Glasto to The Loop, they reply saying they've not talked to the Eavii. They liked my tweet from the other day, so something must be happening (see embed below).

I can imagine that there's resistance from the local council. Will come down to the ''would you rather have your kids put off taking something because they know it's bad, or taking it, overdosing and dying?' argument.

Hopefully see them on the farm and I'll definitely be using their services! ?

There was a party on the farm last night. Michael Eavis invited ex-staff and partners to come and reminisce about old times. He put on a free hogroast, beers and folk bands, and my mate even left with a nice bottle of red.

He chatted to Michael and instead of asking him the headliners, or if he could get us tickets, he asked the big one: how many pairs of denim shorts does he own? The answer is two! But he also gives a lot of them to charity. He buys the cheapest ones at M&S, cuts them off, gets them sewn up in Shepton Mallett, signs them, then donates them!

At least possibly I got that one right :)

Your mate is a true hero. Where's his Pulitzer?

Someone needs to ask the important questions!

No - it was the disclosure of who wouldn't be playing at the festival. I think Michael likes to keep everyone guessing :)

I think I read somewhere that the festival read these forums so I doubt the questions were too much of a surprise although that wasn't a question I had on my list as I knew she must be asked numerous  times ...and others would ask it for me

I wonder how many of the people who do this actually bother to empty their shit buckets in the long drops and take their bucket home with them? I suspect a large proportion just leave them at their camp site still full.

I really don't understand why people would went to take their own tent just to use to shit into a stinky bucket when they could just use the long drops or compost loos which don't tend to smell bad at all.

I love the thought that Emily or even Michael may find out what some of us say around here or that they may think they have kept a certain name quiet until they see us all talking about them.

I prefer to think they are enjoying us chasing our own tails to names they have 'leaked' deliberately, knowing them to be nonsense from the outset, just to drum up hype and media interest.

Yep I certainly believe that to be the case more. I can imagine them thinking that the publicity has gone slightly quiet so let's say to a media friend that Madonna or Fleetwood Mac are possibly playing and then The Sun believes it and they just sit back and watch the fall out.
