i’m hoping for something a little like this:

Swedish House Mafia / Blossoms / Faithless / Slaves

Arctic Monkeys / Pendulum / The Wombats / Circa Waves

The Prodigy / Skepta / DMA’s / The Amazon’s

The 1975 / Cage The Elephant / The Fratellis / Sundara Karma

That would be well worth the £85 I spent on the ticket.

Courteeners new album coming around March, so they’ll be on the festival scene next summer.

Blossoms/DMA’s/Gerry Cinnamon all very realistic I’d say.

Sundara Karma and Pigeon Detectives hopefully in with a shout as well.

Courteeners would make a really good sub! a day with them, gerry cinnamon and DMA’s would make the radio x crowd very happy

Where are the Strokes rumours coming from?

Mumfords are not going to do Primavera or Bilbao, so its either Mad Cool or Benicassim.

This years lineup was kinda cheap, hope they bring at least 2 tier 1 artist next.

There's talk that they could be in line to play APE next summer.

Pool of potential headliners - AM, Foo's, Mumford, Cure, 1975, Tame Impala. Expect 1, maybe 2 of these.

looking at past lineups it seems like a certainty that a rap/r&b act will headline one of the days, in the past five years, Dizzee Rascal, Tinie Tempah, Kendrick, The Weeknd and Travis Scott have all headlined, so potential rappers that could fill the slot:

Post Malone (one of the biggest artist’s in the world, if not the biggest, has been on the festival scene this summer and has an upcoming tour)

Childish Gambino (also was on the festival scene this summer and is continuing touring, would love to see him headline if he hasn’t retired by then)

Snoop Dogg & Dr. Dre (this is just based on them being listed in certain festivals poll’s such as RandL and TRNSMT, don’t believe they have any tours scheduled but could be wrong)

Skepta or BBK (believe he’s got an album coming out but could be wrong, has been releasing singles for a while now)

Stormzy (doubt they’d have him back so soon after playing in 2017 but still a possibility)

Drake (probably too big for this festival but would it really be a list of rappers without mentioning him?)

seems to be true, but he hasn't headlined anywhere in europe

he was at a few festivals around europe this summer, didn’t take a headline slot at any of them but definitely deserved it, i assume he was booked before the release of beerbongs & bentleys which propelled him. If he is to return to europe next summer then i’m sure he’ll be offered the headline slot at a few fest’s, his tour ends on May 11th which could set him up nicely to do fest’s throughout the summer, if he doesn’t want to take a break from touring

He had the biggest crowd of the weekend at Leeds Fest, far bigger than KOL/FOB - he's ready to headline now.

In England, yeah he can headline; in the US he already does (or sub, or co-). Elsewhere, I'm really unsure. Travis Scott headlining was hugely criticized (even more when he ditched few days before performing, in PKP's case).

No, can't see him headlining so far, the genre he plays is mainstream but divides too much

That could be to do with the audience that was there seeing as the rock acts that were booked were crap and people who were there were predominantly there for rap type acts

FR’s community in London two weeks before Beni is announcing tomorrow, would not be a bit surprised if there is crossover given that community’s top 2 from this year and last year’s headliner all played Beni, also Slaves played third down last year and were at Beni last year.

The Kooks, The Amazons and Blossoms have already self confirmed on twitter for community so we can speculate certainly on Blossoms and The Amazons for Beni (Kooks played this year of course)

Why is everybody so certain that Foos are taking a break, they’ve been announced for two June festivals in Germany a week ago.  Since they’ve already been at Mad Cool recently, Beni is a good option.

They're just not a Beni band. People wouldn't mind seeing them but you're not gonna get people flocking to see them. Would be better to put on a strong, consistent line up to draw people back. Liam will have another album out, for near enough the same price they could book him and Chems/Prodigy who are both likely to be about next year and much more likely to pull in a crowd.

Well, RHCP also is not a Beni kind of band, but the day they played was sold out. It had strong undercard with Liam and Biffy Clyro, but still.
