Can anyone offer advice re tickets / tickets with CP Cascais.

We're wanting to buy full weekend tickets and we'll be travelling from / to Lisbon each day of the festival. Should we be buying this ticket option? And if not, how do you get to and from the festival each day? I heard that trains don't run late enough to attend the headliners so you have to wait ages for Ubers? ANyone know?

I just figure it out when I'm there. In 2017 at 5am security found me asleep when everyone had left, they escorted me out of the festival in a wheelchair then I walked 5km back to hotel ?

No, Cascais is the train station by the beach in the opposite direction to Lisbon. Trains run all night during the festival. I’m staying in Lisbon; I just bought a regular ticket and will pay for the train as and when.

Ah okay, we'll do the same then - cheers!

Any idea what we can still expect to come? Im assuming were just accepting VW as a headliner now?

I'm not familiar with this band but I'd be OK with that. Sometimes unexpected headline shows are mindblowing, and I'm sure that NOS Alive 's crowd will make it a memorable moment.

wouldnt they be terrible for a festival like nos? stage wise

edit: dont get me wrong though, I really like them

After the epic show by The National last year, I'm convinced that an indie gig like that could work well, the audience would be respectful!

Super Bock Super Rock just announced all of their acts right now and closed their lineup, NPS did that a long time ago and Paredes de Coura also closed their lineup, so I can´t find any possible explanation for Nos Alive not announcing the 10-15% of the acts that are still missing, maybe now that all the other festivals closed their lineups, we can expect them to rush and announce the missing acts until the end of the month.

So annoying from n.o.s alive . They must be pis@ing off a serious amount of people judging from their facebook page . Can anyone see Foo fighters getting announced for the last headliner ( if there is one , surely vampire weekend cant be a headliner ! ) Tickets for Foo's still on sale for dublin but holding off in the hope they play lisbon . Thanks !

    • Have you tried Anna von Hausswolff yet? Great singer, and she's from Gothenburg so guess she'll be extra excited to show her skills, especially after she unfortunately had to cancel her early summer dates.    Different style, but Oklou for me was the highlight of Primavera (apart from Geese), really enjoyable relaxed music.
    • A few bigger acts that did other similar festivals this year but not Truck, wouldn't be surprised to see one or two of these (if they're touring):   Reytons The Streets Blossoms Sophie-Ellis Bextor Rick Astley Scissor Sisters Dizzee Rascal   Truck on the undercard seems to rotate a lot of it every 2/3 years, expect to see some of these (if they're touring): Yard Act Sports Team Sea Girls Pale Waves Fat Dog Peace Swim Deep Courting   Hope Westside Cowboy and Radio Free Alice are booked again and get some bigger slots next year
    • I read a reliable source saying there's not enough time to stress test and have worked through any major financial decisions between now and then.   So guarantees this budget will just be tinkering at the edges only.
    • Thanks @sisco. Looking forward to it!
    • Looking like will be bringing a 2-3 month old to Glastonbury next year
