Tbf the lines between these things have been getting blurred in the past few years. More punters went to see Nick Cave at APE than went to Isle of Wight 2017, Noel Gallagher performed to festivals half the size of the arenas he was packing out. If I saw Foals headlining something like APE I wouldn't be like "yeah they're only as big as whoever else is playing", but obviously if they weren't given headline status at a festival in 2019 then that'd be it done.

Presume this is already common knowledge but just got an email they Chemical Brothers are doing APE. Surely a shoe in for Glasto return then?

I'd love Kraftwerk to do Glastonbury again, I didn't go in 2015.. Wondering if it's too soon for em again though, was that their first? Don't recall seeing em on a lineup before then.

Eh? Pretty sure they didn't play in 2015. If they did I'm gutted I missed it! I don't think they've ever played but someone can correct me I'm sure...

They didn’t play in ‘15. Never played, even. Think they’d be Other or nada though.

That’s really odd, I could’ve sworn Pyramid was mentioned and that’s why it never really went anywhere. Throw us the link to the post.

And there were some exclusives like “only UK show of 2018” for The National at least. Don’t think they really claimed anything on the undercard.

Were The YYY's an exclusive? Don't recall them playing anywhere else this year.

I don’t think they were claimed as one but they didn’t end up playing anywhere else. And of course, even if an act isn’t explicitly an exclusive it doesn’t mean they have any other festival dates.

think it's The 1975 subbing. I imagine the two would be flipped if it were a UK festival. Lana Del Rey for Pyramid sub/3rd this year i reckon.

I am reading the poster as 1975 and LDR as being headliners on different nights. I am going by font colour, and the fact they have a lot more to announce.
