If there is a headliner announcement this Tuesday I am strongly expecting it to be Foals - their new single is premiering on R1 at 7pm tomorrow night.

Foals for Saturday for weekend 1 would easily soften the blow for not getting the strokes.

And yes people are still suggesting them for a Reading or Glastonbury headline act in the coming future again.

Sadly, they're in the US on weekend 2 and coming to Europe after that. I don't think a back-and-forth has been completely ruled out yet but surely very, very unlikely.

Looks like they are set to do Glastonbury and as Martini said, doubt they would return that quick..

If you want to indicate to people that you know who it is, but don’t want to give away who it is, then I guess that’s what you do.

I wonder if they'll be doing that again this year, having three separate concerts that weekend. Was kind of a disaster last year so maybe they wouldn't want to risk it

I won't go at all for any concerts there after last year and their pathetic non apology

If it was only an issue of inconvenience to fans and not to the council or anyone they have to answer to, I assume they’ll plough on regardless. Would be a bit late in announcing however.

I suppose they might not want to have gigs competing with Glastonbury this year. I imagine a decent amount of the crowd at QOTSA and even Liam Gallagher last year would usually be at Glastonbury on that weekend.

On seetickets it says ally pally tickets are not available and have seemingly been already put on sale ??

All dates now up on Foals website. Full UK tour pretty much, mixture of indoor and outdoor venues. 

Really hoping for Vampire Weekend and Tame Impala now.

Heard over the weekend from someone who works at another festival that they strongly believe Strokes are headlining APE.

Seperately, the band I've hinted at previously was still looking likely as of 2 weeks ago.
