On Eventim it has "...US legendary hip-hop group, Run DMC is set to return to the UK stage for the first time in three years for a one night only exclusive show on Thursday 5th July 2018 at the Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith, London...." - not sure if the exclusivity is down to them doing an exclusive gig or an exclusive performance.

Hope it's an exclusive gig cos if it's true Libertines and run dmc looks like another year spent in calling out tent or round the campsite  at least I will watch catfish at least they are relevant

Um I guess they have completely forgotten about playing IOW last year then, I really hope they aren’t playing, they were terrible, lots of waffle interspersed with lots of shouting. Well a headline slot takes a lot of filling when you only have about 5 songs.

I'd be over the moon with Run DMC, seems like i'd be in the minority though. I'd be surprised if they headlined. A very similar type of booking to the Sugarhill Gang in 16 and I recall this was around a teatime slot.

Run DMC won't headline, but they may well be on the bill.

Would be happy with Catfish & Libs headlining - I'm kinda' expecting it to be honest.

The final headliner I'd like someone such as Bloc Party, Blondie or Richard Ashcroft.
