Justiceforcedave
It's a bit of a tradition to always head there and have at least one meal. Lovely vibes!
SG87
Have no idea where it is, but I was in last year and had to leave hastily as I was tripping and beginning to freak out due to the same chanting, over and over and over and over again.....Same again this year I reckon. Trout Mask Replica
Mrs n I were footsore and weary one year and needed to rest our tired aching legs. Found a sofa in there and had a bit of a sing song with them for a half hour. They gave us some juice. It gave us the energy we needed to carry on walking. Cockney_Jesus
I go there at least once a day every year. I really like the food, nice veggie curry with a poppadom or some bread & very generous portions too. Keeps me going for ages! The chanting does get into your head though. Can hear it right now! Keithy
Lovely bunch, nice chairs, chant is relaxing, food is good. Have always left a decent tip as they've helped out loads of people over the years with their free food. Not the sort of place you can just stop for 5 minutes. To really appreciate it, have to stay for a bit.
Keithy
I don't do many other big festivals...are they at other festivals or is it one of those unique Glastonbury things that they are always just there?
Spindles
They certainly have been at other festivals in the past, they used to be at phoenix festival back in the 90s.
Little Andy
Genuine questions : What is it all about? Does the donation you pay go towards the food they make, or something else towards the religion? Does it not seem bizarre that Glastonbury has a tent for a religion? Considering there's a church as well.

There's a few 'religious' tents around if you look hard enough Cater for all
The Placid Casual
Is the food spicy? I'm a massive wuss when it comes to spicy food. Anything hotter than a Bhuna and I'm out of there. adjwholovesmusic
Placid Casual, I would say tasty rather than spicy. Sunday morning I like a few hours solo time just to wander and get back on track so last year I went to the leftfield for Jeremy Corbyn and it was cancelled so I popped into the Krishna Tent for an hour just to chill. Had my first free meal and left there feeling humbled and with a smile on my face. The food was nice and a genuinely a lovely experience. One which I will be repeating this year as it set me up well for our Sunday afternoon Guinness session in the Acoustic field.
jackarmy
Queues can get pretty massive for the free food at peak times. Worth nipping in if you can catch it right!
joeltg
Visited a few years ago but it seemed shut, but always get involved when I see them around the site. You can't help but smile at this lot. Edited May 18, 2017 by joeltg

balti-pie
That's mildly annoyed me. I liked having it where it was, I popped in a couple of times over the weekend. I never have anything to do with silver Hayes really, it's all a bit dancy for my liking
Roger1
That's quite a change of location. The previous location was excellent and fitted in well with the surrounding stages. I would have thought silver Hayes is a lot louder and far to hectic. Doesn't seem like a great idea moving it
Untz
Well they do like a dance too. I've had a dance with them when they've been on a walkabout at the festival. It was more running in a circle, but still.

Keithy
I don't like this change The chanting is just going to get drowned out by thumping bass and Silver Hayes just doesn't feel the right place. If they had to move, shame they couldn't go where Fluffy Rock cafe was or be found a home in the Avalon area.
