Seen suggestions that White Lies are talking about Kendal Calling, which would definitely be the sort of festival they'll be playing. Not to say it's not R&L, but I'm not convinced.

Well the new DON BROCO albums amazing, plenty of bangers. 

Are they pretty much nailed on for Leeds fest?

Is it possible that due to some deal made or something they have delayed announcing Arctic Monkeys until after the trsnmt tickets went on sale on Thursday? This could work with what we know seeing as trsnmt were selling AM tickets with the claim that it was the only uk festival  with them "announced" so far.  Though what do I know I'm probably just another desperate fanboy clutching at straws cause I've already bought me ticket. Whatever I'm sure I could send Dudey Rhino an email saying I was Alex Turner's cousin and claim this to be the reason for the late lineup and we'd have another laughable video based upon a "solid" source.

I guess there's the slimmest chance, but that wouldn't really explain the longer wait for an announcement. If they did want to announce AM after TRNSMT went on sale they could have still have announced a different headliner and a few acts months ago as usual. Also I find it hard to believe that TRNSMT will struggle to sell the AM day regardless of whether they're playing R&L or not, so it probably wouldn't matter if they were announced elsewhere before.

Could you imagine the first time that Billy, James and Jimmy play together in years and years being greeted by a bunch of people with glitter on their faces waiting for Imagine Dragons to come on. 

In 2019, The Smashing Pumpkins will do Hyde Park, I think. Unless Download can get them, which would be amazing.

TRNSMT's choice of words alludes to another festival... which one could it be if people are convinced they won't be at RandL. I am seeing them at TRNSMT and would prefer another act at RandL but have the feeling. Don't know if its all the fakes with the new font getting to my head...

Announcement Monday evening, interview about it in the morning? Feels like it'd be a giveaway if they announced it at the same time they were scheduled for an interview.
