Buy 2 x 24 trays of Tribute and get a 3rd free and free delivery.  So that's 72 cans (500ml) of lovely pale ale for £76 delivered to your door.  Bargain.  Bought mine.

Thanks for that. 3 slabs of Tribute ordered today. That should see me through Bearded Theory next weekend with some left over.

Great shout for all of these. Vocation Life and Death is my all time favourite beer, and I was going to get 24 cans from Eebria until I found it on sale for £1.50 a can in tesco. Not sure how I felt about that as the availability of it at tesco somehow made it feel less special, that said I'll be rolling around for 5 days with a belly full of it come 5 weeks time.

Ha ha, I know what you mean, the beer snob factor in discovering such a superior brew disappears when you realise they're now on  a multi-buy offer in the country's biggest supermarket! Still lovely stuff though, have got some ready for G (though it probably won't last 'til then).

Great to see Tribute getting so much love - and St Austell so much business - on this thread.

Not to my knowledge. You can buy 6 cans of Gamma Ray, or Smog Rocket, for about £15 delivered from Amazon, or a mixed case of 10 for about £30. You might find it a little cheaper in a good beer shop but it's pricey stuff wherever you can get it.

Thanks for the info. I might go to their tap room, the brewery isn't too far from where I work.

Quite right, being from Bristol, there are lots of local small breweries to choose from, but St Austell have a great range and I'd support them over the American owned bunch up in Rock any day. I also like the fact that when you see St Austell Trelawny on draught, it's a sign you're in the proper south west. Did I say Propeerr?

I bloody love Tribute and drank my bodyweight (which is a lot) of this stuff in Newquay last year.  Never seen it in cans though.  Any idea which retailers I should be looking for???  This could be my Glasto breakfast drink of choice.

Can buy direct from brewery, delivery included. The more you buy the cheaper it gets!

Sorry, I know this is the BEER thread, but I want to ask about cider, specifically Brothers Festival Pear.

You can get a 24 pack off their website but its quite pricey and you have to pay for shipping. I can't find them in shops anywhere. Has anyone seen them? They used to be in B&M, but haven't seem them there for ages!

Sadly I haven't see any Brothers festival cans in the wild for the last two years :(

I was afraid of this, but I thought it was because I live in London and they deprive us of stuff here :P

not much love for Old Golden Hen here! Its my staple ale, just waiting for it to go on offer as its about £5 for 4x 500ml cans which is a bit pricey. Sometimes tesco do 2x 4pack for £8 which is a bit more paletable at £1 a can.

Hopefully gonna get some sierra nevada cans in as well altho they won't be very nice warm. Golden hen is still very servicable at a less than cold temperature. nice and hoppy unlike most bitters you get in cans.

might see if i can get a sierra nevada torpedo or two in as well :D

"craft" beer really doesnt take well to not being that cold though in my opinion, plus if you are going to spend all that money on it, drink them on the first day whilst still cold out of your cool box.

Has anybody tried the Korev Lager from St Austell's? I noticed it was also on the 3 for 2.

Worth buying over the usual over the usual supermarket pish?

Definitely.  Not a massive lager drinker really but had plenty of this in my time whilst on holiday in Cornwall - draught and can.  It's good stuff.

Woop! This is a Great Thread! My notable canned beers:

Tanglefoot - its very sessionable cold, and it's more than ok not cold: as a premium best it's a decent strength.

Sierra Nevada torpedo IPA - not easy to find in a can, but it's a delight of a thing at 7.2%. The tropical notes are better mildly chilled, but even if it's not, it's still well worth the ££ purchase

Dark Star revelation - 5.7% of wonderful dark hoppy tastiness. The APA is probably a better beer, but revelation is stronger, and less reliant on being cool. Wicked looking cans too

ill add more in due course, and look forward to other ideas too  the first person to suggest Fosters with Rum will be ritually disembowelled!

I can add my appreciation of the Tanglefoot, and am very keen to try the other two. Have had Revelation on tap but will have to try the can. And the prospect of extra strong Sierra Nevada in a large can has me very excited!

I've looked around at the various online site and this one, which I first discovered on the similar thread we had last year, looks to be the best if you want to order a mixed batch of cans - great range, good prices and cheaper p&p (£4.99; although note that Beer Hawk is free P&P for over £50): https://www.cannedcraft.co.uk/index.php/beer.html.  They have both the Torpedo and the Revelation...

Well I do quite like the Old Golden Hen and have just come back from our large neighbourhood Tesco where the large cans are x2 packs of 4 for £8. I was hoping to get the Vocation as never tried it before but alas none there.

They did also have the Wainwright same offer as OGHen.

I may have to seek out a tray of Bathams from our local CAMRA Outdoor, usually £24 for x12, really is nectar of the Gods in the Midlands B)

I saw in my larger local Tesco (Exeter) that there was a new shelf just containing 33cl canned beer such as:

Vocation Life and Death

Vocation Pride and Joy

Vocation Heart and Soul

Pistonhead Full Amber

Brewdog Punk IPA

Adnams Crystal Rye

Adnams Dry Hopped

Brooklyn East IPA

Anchor California Lager

Most of them are on 4 for £6.  Deal seems to run until the 24th May.
