Do you think they'll take the hint?

I do hope that it will skew line ups to be generally older tracks, or at least a little more balanced. It's the only way I'd pay to see them again.

I'm glad they delivered for everyone who got tickets.

Must admit I'm looking forward to seeing them again at Reading next week.

I wouldn't get your hopes up for a set like this at Reading. You might get Showbiz at a push, but the rest will be standard Drones tour fodder.

Agree totally with you. Just looking forward to seeing my local band again.

What a setlist, and the gig itself looked great on the livestream. Glorious alone makes me very jealous.

Decided I needed an indefinite Muse break after Glasto, but regretting not trying for tickets for now. '10 years ago me' would be ashamed. This was the sort of gig I used to dream about seeing.

Just heard from a very reliable source that Brian Johnson from AC/DC is coming on as a guest tonight at Reading.

Back in Black it is then. Have to suggest this show is a hell of a lot better than the one they put out at Glastonbury last year. Almost as good as the Origin 'in full' festival show in 2011.

He says then they go and play Uprising. That song has aged really really badly.

Much much much better. Gutting really. Even as a big fan, Glastonbury put me off even considering this weekend when normally I'd have been on it straight away.

Just watched take a bow and with the lasers it looked incredible.

I would venture that the crowd was shit at Glastonbury which could've contributed, but I guess the crowd being able to jump around and not being knackered from walking around in thick mud helps them get up for it too

Was shite when it came out. As a big Muse fan at the time I remember being massively disappointed upon first hearing it.

Aye. That was the moment I knew the best days were probably over.

Watching Reading now on BBC4, and it's going down a lot better with the crowd than Glasto. The band seem like they are enjoying it more too.

Also both setlist and visuals are better

people have been saying they seem to have been on a real high this week since the shepards bush gig.

I saw them at the Belfast show last week. Going in wasn't overly excited but I'd loved Muse when I was younger, also won the tickets so thought I may as well give em a go as I decided to see Richard Hawley instead at Glasto 2016.

I was absolutely blown away. The setlist was so much more hit filled than I could've anticipated; that run of Hysteria>>Bliss>>Assassin>>2nd Law Interlude>>New Born>>SMB is what dreams are made of.

    • TOP 10 acts (top 5 in bold😞   Blood Orange (ciutat)   Guitarricadelafuente   Oklou - Looks like I'm capable of enjoying music in the rain after all, just not the whole night.   Rilo Kiley   The Cure   Jade   Depresión Sonora   Gelli Haha (Parc del Forum) - Her music never really clicked with me. Until I saw her live.   MARINA   Six Sex (ciutat) - I was shocked how supersmall the venue was and that almost everyone (except for me) knew every word of every song (including the ones that were released this weekend!).   Honorable mention:   Ashnikko - missed the first 15 minutes (because of Gelli Haha) and I'm not really a fan of her music, but the show was an absolute blast.
    • Totally agree about PinkPantheress stage choice. 'Luckily' for me, one of my main targets, fakemink, was absolutely awful, meaning that I left early and was in a surprisingly good spot at Cupra before it got totally packed.
    • As many said before, not my favourite Primavera. sh*tty weather is something I'm not really used to when enjoying music. Poor communication (more than 1 hour long radio silence during the worst rain) didn't help, but the main problem was me. I decided to leave the venue after things seemed to be getting back to normal. Massive Attack were supposed to play again (with Hymn of the Big Wheel back on the setlist!) as were all other artists on the smaller stages (including Fcukers with one my favourite albums of the year). FOMO was at an all-time high. However, after 4 hours in the rain, I had to admit to myself that I'm not cut out for this. I wasn't even that soaked (water-proof jacket worked). I was just fed up with the rain, wind and cold and wasn't able to enjoy music anymore.   Also, they should stop ignoring the growth of some artists between signing them up and their actual performance. Both PinkPantheress and Ninajirachi sets were ruined for me by completely inadequate stage choice.   However, I felt very much the same way after the 2022 edition and have thoroughly enjoyed all subsequent editions. So I'm still buying early bird tickets for 2027 and hoping this was a hiccup not the start of a downward trend.
    • I will definitely be buying a 2027 early bird pass, partially because of the priority reservation privileges for the Ciutat sets. Hopefully the organization will take action to improve upon this year's failings. Because I thought the free water options and sound quality were an improvement over last year, so clearly they can actually implement positive changes.   I also hope all the douchebag chompers get in the sea, cause I was more bothered by them than in the past few years.   Highlights: The Cure, Ninajirachi, Knocked Loose, Current 93, Blood Orange.
