Clashing with PJ Harvey by the looks of it

Thats a bit of a shitter really as I would have liked to have watched PJ. Along with The Pet Shop Boys the Stereo MC's are the only other band that I have really wanted to see, but for whatever reason have always evaded me. Will make a point of watching them at Glasto.

Other than Connected - I know nothing of Stereo MC's. PJ is on my to see list.

I suspect Stereo MCs will be playing the Glade, if there isnt a full clash, I might pop over and see what the fuss is about if it works like that.

I've heard Connected, and I don't want to know anymore of Stereo MC's

They are the baggiest of the baggy bands. They have a quality groove to them and some tip top party tunes. The perfect way to have one last dance before you round off the festival.

With New Order tbc, plus St Etienne and Stereo MC's confirmed, there is not really much more I could ask for.

I'll be at New Order unless an unbelievable surprise turns up somewhere... one of the few acts all our group will want to see. Not that Im bothered being on my own or splitting the group up - but we will all want to see New Order.

I have got to get some of the stereo MC'S as well. Need to see Connected and Step It up at least once in my life. Nothing better than seeing a band play an absolute stone wall classic.

Agree completely, the atmosphere there was incredible, like a party from the old days with the whole crowd having it. Ended up in the south east corner until the sun came up and was one of the best sunday nights i've ever had at Glastonbury. Coach home was pretty tough going.

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
