I'm still not sold on Bring Me the Horizon being around next summer. Especially that late into the summer.

The Killers seem like a great shout. Anyone think that Metallica could make a return next year?

EDIT: Oh, The xx/Alt-J is a great shout for the inevitable co-main as well, with both due for a return next year.

Worth noting you can currently buy tickets for a fair few of their shows for way less than face value on ViaGoGo.

Still part of the problem. ViaGoGo take their percentage and don't care whether it is at face value, above or below - they still get paid. Should be more encouragement for the likes of:

I'm one of the many campaigning against touts as it's disgraceful and with modern technology more could definitely be done. The biggest problem is that there's no real financial benefit for the ticket companies or venues from implementing systems or processes to stop tickets sold on by touts.

Only if reselling is the problem; which it isn't - touting is. If people don't buy for over face value then touting is eradicated and they are just providing a service for FV or lower tickets, for which a percentage - for the advertising and guaranteeing of a ticket - isn't exactly unjust.

Anyway the biggest problem isn't that there's nothing in it for the venues and ticket sites to go against it but that there is something in it for venues and ticket sites to encourage it cos - for popular bands and venues - they  are often one and the same with the reseller sites and in some cases the touts too. The decks stacked against the customer and only legislation will prevent it - that and everyone just not buying for over face value.

Just don't see how anyone could have You Me At Six subbing R/L or Download. Surely not big enough for that slot.

Easily, they are at the very back end of a tour....if you even still call it that tour, doing some intimate dates. It's not like they haven't done a bugger tour that sold well already, and I have no reason to back them as I'm not a fan.

Kings of Leon have rolled out a tour for February, which is historically good timing for the R+L announcement. But there's no London date so a big show at Finsbury/BST/Emirates/QEP could possibly poleaxe a headline slot couldn't it?

Was interesting to see no London date - similar to Green Day only announcing a small UK tour then adding BST, only difference being them having another London date already. People I've been speaking to think BST is the more likely but I'd love to see them at Reading

Intimate dates in 2016 is just a marketing strategy where the promoter doesn't fully back the band to sell a load of tickets. In pretty much every case I've seen of it happening the last few years, it's been for good reason too.

Bmth's intimate tour didnt sell great but their arena tour has currently sold loads off the bck of the same album

Caught You Me At Six at Rock City last night and for what it's worth they'd probably do very well in a sub slot. Lots of energy, lots of recognisable songs, Josh's vocals actually sound great and the new album sounds like it'll at least be better than Cavalier Youth. However, like a lot of people on here have said unless Night People actually explodes I can't see them headlining. Side note, anyone have any idea why they never play anything from Take Off Your Colours?

VANT were great also, would be a good addition to any festival, should be bigger than they are.
