Mouseboy11
Thought they were a bit shite before if I'm honest. That set in the John Peel was brilliant though, won me over.
Amy Lawn
Set was a big surprise, they got a great reception. It was really touching at the end, the guy had obviously been doing his best to stay in character and be a sarcastic misanthropic prick for the whole set, but looked very humbled by the love they were getting. A highlight for me, which is saying something, seeing as I hadn't looked after myself at all and was a total wreck on Saturday.
Memory Man
Agreed they were brilliant and smashed their set! They have gotten even better live since i saw them at beacons festival last august. Nice to hear a band with something to say given a platform on a main stage at the festival rather than a lot of MOR stuff you tend to get on those stages
General Lee
Yep, they were really good. I went not expecting much but was really impressed. He puts a lot into it and it was good they were given that platform.
rubenz
They were great, people of all ages were there and into what they were doing. The jokes about Slaves being the support act and the fact that they were a well polished live act were funny as well,
jpeee
Really Great set! And nice shoes too!

The Placid Casual
Yeah they were excellent and went down a storm. I'm a fan and I wasn't expecting the crowd to be belting out a song the way they did to Jobseeker. Excellent stuff.
ryan.smith
I missed them unfortunately but just watched them on iPlayer - intense! Quality. Saw them in Leeds a few months back and got tickets for their tour too.
Mash011
Saw them out of curiosity and bemusement and left legitimately really surprised by what a great live act they are. The guy has a killer voice and performs flawlessly, bet he's secretly an amazing singer. Jobseeker is an absolute banger.
myers
FUK OFF GLASTONBURY!!!! they were quality i thought, I'm a fan anyway but was good too see decent sized crowd ! he handled that bottle thrower well too!
FuzzyDunlop
Absolutely loved it. I hope it came across well on the iplayer.

TheBurns
Watching them on the iplayer, gutted I missed them but the sun was too much for me! I was under the tree at the pyramid discussing how bad George Ezra was at the time
rubenz
He turned up at Leftfield in Sonic as well to do the Head and Shoulders, Dandruff Warriors , Chicken in a Basket song!

I loved it when he said "Has everybody gone to the toilets, then?", he'd obviously thought of that one the night before, expecting a small crowd of bemused tye-died vest tops and a flower crowds. Then he got out there and had a packed out tent cheering at him and thought "fuck it, I'm doing it anyway". "Me and Andrew are a professional band. We've been doing live music for a long time, we expect some more fookin heads".
When Jokers Attack
Enjoyed them, only went to see them as a tribute to a mate who didn't get a ticket and is a big fan. Some of their lyrics are insane.

FuzzyDunlop
I had heard 3/4 tunes beforehand and thought they would be a fun novelty act, I was wrong. They are far more than that. Funny, but intense. We were all really impressed
brendan84
One of my highlights of the festival. Brilliant and funny Got home and booked tickets for their next London gig
zeppelin
This thread confuses me; all I heard from people after was how bad it was. When he came out with Leftfield it kind of killed their set for a bit as well. I think they'll always be one of those acts that I don't get.
