It looks tiny! How many people can fit in there?

That's only one section of it. There were 3 or 4 platforms, with wooden walkways and steps between them. Only room for a few hundred, but a nice addition to the area! Edited by mr gumby

Inside the Arcadia production office. ...where I took a crew member of mine to pick up his Arcadia paperwork,,,,,,,,,, who is now going to be working for Arcadia as well as me. Bloody turncoat :)

Incidentally, there were a few core Arcadia folk in there and it seems that there is one unknown TBC for Arcadia, they didn't know who, but the feeling that it wasn't someone big. They didn't seem to think that there was an unannounced superstar DJ to surprise you.

Not him then - thanks

It's The Spike, which is a great little stage & bar hidden in the trees near the Glade. Highly recommended, but it can get rammed!

Oh, I think I've been there actually, but only in the dark while drunk. I've definitely been on some kind of raised platform in the trees near the Glade anyway (just north of the railway next to the crossroads with Pennards). I vaguely remember there being a big disco ball in there.

Ah - that makes much more sense. I probably should have guessed there was more to it than that.

Time for coffee I think...

Yeah that's it - that pic is where the bands play, and as mentioned, the bars are on the other platforms just by. JJ Rosa is playing again on the Thursday this year, but don't tell anyone as it's secret. I know I can rely on you, you have a trustworthy face.

Planning to go to the farm again on Friday evening. With a bit of luck I'll be able to take a bit of a tour around so should get more pics.

Will try to remember to get up to the new Strummerville and Tor View to see what's going on there.

Yes please Mr S! Your pictures so far make me very very happy whenever I take a peek. The pyramid & arcadia spider pics are fantastic, and new Other stage looks astounding!

    • Had a wonderful booking in one of our primary woodland venues this weekend. A 30th birthday arranged by a load of musicians and entertainment industry professionals. It was primarily a folk oriented event, however I noticed one young woman who didn’t seem to fit dress and appearance wise. Turned out to be Frenetic, one of the top up and coming UK Jungle and DnB DJ’s.    Anyway Saturday night turned into an EDM session and I got to do a set. Slightly nervous considering who was there, it was great and Frenetic loved my set. She’s closing Data Mine at Shambala this year.
    • they got lucky and the thunderstorms stayed away. It was still wet of course. Some of those boot sucking puddles did emerge from what a couple friends saw who were there.  Post fest aerial also below   and also a sapphic mud wrestling contest?
    • It's even less funny when in real life too...   Liddle met Rachel Royce and the couple soon became romantically involved.[84] In January 2004 the couple married at a ceremony in Malaysia. They had been living in Heytesbury, Wiltshire, and had two sons together. Six months later, Liddle moved in with Alicia Monckton, a 22-year-old receptionist at The Spectator. It transpired that he had cut short his honeymoon with Royce so that he could be with Monckton. Following their divorce, Liddle and Royce exchanged attacks in the media. Liddle called her a "total slut and slattern"
    • Got our purple outfits sorted.   What's the uptake on the fancy dress day?   Does everyone get involved with that one as well?
