Permaculture just off the glade crossroads I’d never seen it or been there during the festival before

No I’ve never seen it and I sometimes use the Permaculture cafe and often use the cut through into healing  to avoid crowds on the railway track

2016 keeps coming up as a bad year for mud and I always get confused. I don’t recall it being that bad.

Just had a look at some pictures from that year. Seems my brain has filtered it out

2016...pah....try 2007 lol - biblical proportions of mud !

2007 was atrocious, although in 2016 the area I worked for at the time (and assumedly all the areas) received a handwritten letter from Michael a few weeks later thanking everyone for the mammoth effort, and saying it was the worst year they've had and it was the closest they came to calling it off.

2016 past ankles

2007 past knees

😊😉

I got lucky then.

2007 I didn’t have a way in.

Interesting as it tells me I’ve been volunteering for Green Traffic for 17 years, including this year (excluding fallow years and Covid years).

They also said that in interviews the following year.

Not sure about 1 and 5, but I met an engineer lady who said in 2006 her and her crew took it down to replace it with a stronger structure to be able to take a bigger load on the tech and staging etc

They used to have to take it down every year so it wouldn’t need planning permission. But they then managed to get planning permission for it to be up all the time, it doesn’t really impact the view unlike pangea.
