There's a crane in Cineramageddon...

Am I being blind?

Also mine just updated from 16:40 to 16:50 and I thought I had somehow increased the brightness on my laptop without touching anything. SUN!

No, can't see it anymore you could just see the boom popping up behind the trees

What field is it actually in? I have a position that i think it is, but I might be horribly wrong.

Last year, wasn't there a metal track accompanying the fence? Is this due to the good ground conditions?

Think there has been more track laid in previous years but as someone else on here said the need for the track is not so much where the fence is following a road/track already.

Ground was great this time last year

We had a wet winter last year, a drier colder one this year.

April and May were dry but the ground was never this good.

Im holding on to some hope.

So from today's run.....The Pearl Jam stage Other stage base is down and the stage and bits an bobs are there. There's a very lonely portaloo at the back of the stage.

You can see the fence and pyramid so no need to describe them.

The clouds of dust that are kicked up when a landrover drives by is huge! I need a face mask like in Japan!

But the BIG news, and very sad news is........I got busted by security :-(

Basically telling me it was a closed site and a no-go area from now on.

but that doesn't mean I can't report.....I'll just reroute to running AROUND the site

Thanks dee your our eyes you are..

Think theres due a load over next few days

Good. All this dry weather runs the risk of catch up and the wettest June on record if we're not careful. Nice bit of light rain for a couple weeks now would be fine.

    • I agree that we’ll never really know up until the concert happens (and even then we still may not know) but I think promoters are having to come up with new tactics to combat ‘blue dot fever’ (already hating that phrase!) and trying to imply that concerts are selling better than they actually are / available tickets are in short supply is definitely one of them.    To add though, it is quite common at the O2 Arena for the rear blocks to not go on sale (and then remain closed for the concert and covered over to hide the empty seats). And equally common for standing to sell out first, then side/lower tier seating next and rear/upper tier seating last.    Jungle’s two concerts at the O2 are a good comparison for this - for their 1st (announced) date, all blocks are on sale and seats in all sections remain unsold, whereas for their 2nd date, the rear blocks are greyed out (more so than for Muse) and equally lots of seats remain unsold in the blue blocks. Standing for both concerts are showing as sold out.
    • MGK can and should headline. I was at one of his shows earlier in the year as a very casual fan, and there were a lot of alt people there. The show was actually class and he completely won me over. Anyone who opposes him headlining is just a gatekeeper imo, we need to move with the times.
    • Ultimately Glasto is just part of the festival circuit, however special we may think it is. The vast majority of its headliners have done many others
    • From Magyar’s FB:   ”Our country's energy and water supply is stable. As of today, voluntary consumption reduction is no longer necessary. The turbine at the Paks power plant is generating stably. Thanks to precipitation in Austria, the water level of the Danube will temporarily rise by 20–30 centimeters. Thank you, Hungary, for the unprecedented national unity shown in recent days! We have much to be proud of, and much to carry forward into the period ahead.”
    • I hope it stays under £400.  A lot of us aren't flush with cash.  Charities are great but do they need £1 mil (I jest)
