We only got acts playing the Pyramid, Other, John Peel, The Park and West Holts last year.

These were all the acts that ended up playing in 2015 but weren't on the initial poster:

Pyramid
The Libertines Burt Bacarach The Who
James Bay The Unthanks with Charles Hazlewood  Paul Weller
Michael Clark Company   Songhoy Blues
    Burtle Silver Band
Other
Courteeners The Strypes Twin Atlantic
Everything Everything Frank Turner Palma Violets
The Cribs Swim Deep Adam Cohen
The Charlatans   SOAK
    Rival Sons
West Holts
The Gaslamp Killer Experience Vintage Trouble Steel Pulse
Marcos Valle Soil & Pimp Sessions Cumbia All Stars
Dorian Concept Sinkane Hiatus Kaiyote
The Cambodian Space Project Jane Weaver Ibibio Sound Machine
K.O.G & The Zongo Brigade Flamingods
The Park Stage
Benjamin Booker Gaz Coombes The Staves
Glass Animals Giant Sand Jack Garratt
Shlomo Eaves Denai Moore
King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard Flo Morrissey Rag 'n' Bone Man
Pussy Riot in Conversation
Rhodes
John Peel Stage
SBTRKT Slaves Django Django
Chet Faker Coasts Alvvays
The Districts Sunset Sons Prides
Leon Bridges Isaac Lee-Kronick Saint Raymond
Rainy Boy Sleep   Mini Mansions
Hinds   Gengahr
Weaves   Lucy Kitchen

So when the poster does come out, we'll still have a hell of a lot more to come for the main stages and obviously elsewhere. The initial reveal is just a drop in the ocean

EDIT: This doesn't seem to format properly on mobile, apologies!

For the glastonbury one? There's been no change, unless maybe they're testing the water and making the necessary preparations for Tuesday AM

Yeah I know. I've had two now though so obviously something is going on behind the scenes.

Nope they were both the other day, within a few hours of each other. I just haven't been on here since :P

it's true that Erykah Badu has never played at Glastonbury...

The single biggest shame of my entire existence is this. There are reasons for such an omission, I'm sure, but they are blurry and indeterminate, and ultimately without merit. Budu must play. The only artist on the  "my god that's obvious" list left who has not yet appeared and has been mysteriously overlooked. .

Erykah Badu !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.....!!

I was there for most of her London shows this decade, where were you?...... and WHY were you not there?

I realise I probably already know the answer to this question but did your source just know the poster was on its way, or did they actually see the poster?

Just wondering if they mentioned any names like Talking Heads, TV on the Radio or any other combination of the words 'head' and 'radio' that may have occurred?

My source for the announcement doesn't know anything about posters, they just know when the announcement is.

The didn't mention any names, tho it's exceedingly likely they've seen the full line-up stage by stage.

Bamber, stop it. You're not posting about anything headliner.

Pollute your own existing threads.

OK, I will stop.

( But by implication,, that must mean that Erykah Badu can never headline a stage at the festival? )

If so, that's a wrongun?

I'm hoping for 9am, im too excited to have to wait all though tuesday, but 7pm would be nicer as I can pay a lot more attention then and try and work out who's going where.

So many acts I'm hoping for, but won't ramble on about it in this thread

    • Another one from Sheffield DocFest this weekend, Earth Wind & Fire docu, directed by Questlove. Sensational archive footage, contributions from band members, family, plus a lot of very big fans (Stevie, Lionel, Flea, the Obamas) and a warts n all assessment of the genius / flawed human being that was Maurice White. Also, I never realised he started out as a jazz drummer with Ramsay Lewis. Well worth a watch.
