I went twice (just for the day - camping was bloody grim even then) in the late 90's and it was excellent. Super Furries we're especially smashing one year.

I worked V Fest wristbanding in 2008. Dave Grohl played a secret set and there were like 100 people there. It was definitely worth the £0 I paid for my ticket.

I hate to admit I have been to V but I was there for that. It was an acoustic set about midday wasnt it. Absolute magic!
