the idjut only decided he wanted to go the day before the general resale.

I guess that's what happens when you've been every year since birth and get casual about it. ;)

It'll be a valuable learning experience for him Neil. Give him a couple of Twixes and a pat on the back, and let him fly the nest

OK - so I am one of the lucky ones who already have my ticket.

But I have been sat here on these pages since last Friday trying to get tickets for 2 work colleagues who have never been. Nothing better than sharing the joy of the festival with Newbies. Google Chrome monitor churning away (sorry Neil hadn't invested in your tracker)

I come in all excited this morning saying 'its definitely gonna be today'. Response I get 'Actually - I don't think we are going to bother now' WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do these people have no idea how important it is????

Having now created a scene in the office and blown my cover to my boss as to why I have achieved bugger all for the last week I now have an incredibly empty feeling. Managed to get 4 tickets for random strangers in the 2015 secret sale and gave me such a warm fuzzy feeling that lasted right up to meeting them on the farm.

So, late to the party, but anyone who hasn't already got hundreds of people already trying for them, if you want to DM your details to me then I will feel like my week will once again have a purpose and I will get the chance to share that warm glow I got when I managed 2 years ago. (Albeit failed in the 30 seconds it took for last years one).

Good luck all and its worth it. The joy of getting a golden ticket at this late stage is even more special than getting one in October!

That must be frustrating to say the least!
I am trying for myself and 2 friends and I'm the only one who is trying.  Any help would be much appreciated :-)

Did anyone used to go before the photo ticket system early 2000's? Ebay had some hilarious fake tickets in the thousands. My personal favourite was a ticket that looked like it had been made in microsoft word, just a plain white piece of paper (with typos!!)  that read:

Glastonburt Festival

weekend entrans (Then a random number)

That was it. Amazing

I remember in 2000 and 2003 just being able to go into a record shop and them tearing tickets off a pad at the counter! if it was the same now we would all be camped outside a month beforehand! managed to get some wifi at work, best of luck!

Haha - I was going then and in the late 90's when the majority of people seemed to jib over the fence. I feel like I should be rewarded now for paying when most people seemingly didn't!

You didn't really need to pay then if you weren't going back out!

89 and 90 bought a wristband on the car park entrance and wandered through a gap in the fence with a beer in my hand

Ive been in the same boat for the last 2 or 3 years.  I've said "don't give up hope we've got a good chance" only to have them say "yeah but i'll save the money and go camping".  Its so odd, its no more expensive in the secret sales than it is the main resale

Do we think there's going to be the random "holding page" like in the official general/resales? Or, as I remember reading awhile back, it'll just take you straight through?

straight through probably...holding page is for the big volume sales, although with this secret resale becoming less secret every year - who knows?

In my first few years (81 and a couple after) - just used to wander down from Stonehedge on the Tuesday. stroll in and camp in what is now the Pyramid field. Nobody bothered you and the field filled with tents over the next couple of days.

Mind it was only £8 in dem days

It must be an amazing feeling. But I'd still settle for getting one in October!:)

I guess it's possible - if the number of tickets exceeds the number their able to process at once and there's that many people trying
