Dare I say it but it really is turning out to be the perfect festival weather, not too hot,not too cold, some sunshine and cloud cover with a splash of rain here and there to keep the dust down.

Ok maybe a bit more on Sunday but so far nearly perfect  :)

If we are only talking about 5mm of rain across the entirety of the festival, then it's looking pretty damn sweet. And if it occurs between 7am and 11am then my prayers have truly been answered.

Thanks so much for all the work that has gone into the reports and forecasts, this place is all part of the buildup fun for me and just like years previous, it has been a roller coaster from beginning to end.

Have a great festival everyone!

On my way out this afternoon from work, my boss who isn't in tomorrow wished me luck for Glasto and asked for the weather report because he knows through interweb history I post here - I gave him the run down and his words were (I shit you not) 'you silly bastard its always muddy at fuckinng glastonbury'.........

Thanks to all for the fun times in the weather thread. I will be about tomorrow as I don't arrive at site until Thursday morning early doors but hope you all have fun for those off today or tomorrow!

See you all in the headliners 2016 thread next week!

Ps: would do a Phil Jones meme but can't be arsed I am going to have a bath

What is up with the media, they really can't help themselves,I bet there all cursing the weather

And the Guardian too...http://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/music/festivals/glastonbury-2015-weather-second-day-of-rain-forecast-for-sunday-10339347.html

Edit,sorry Independant.

It's amazing. It's not Tropical Storm Bill any more and hasn't been for quite a while coming across the Atlantic. It's now a band of light rain but that doesn't sound quite as sexy does it?

I know the headline looks quite crap but the article is saying more or less what we know.

Finished work now so will be monitoring the thread but probably not contributing.

Thanks again to everyone who adding an extra edge to all the Glasto excitement.

I am fairly certain the current forecast is identical to that which was predicted when I first started following this.

Have a great one people, there is no redeeming feature through which you may recognise me, but if you see me, do say hello!

    • I’ve had a good sleep and I feel weirdly zen about the whole thing.   My first Primavera, so not the greatest first impression. I guess today couldn’t be any worse, right?   Thoroughly enjoyed Men I Trust and Geese. Cupra is a beautiful stage and the crowd seemed fun, friendly and engaged.   I think it probably could have gone even worse, considering how dangerous the crowding felt at times.   Anyway, we go again.
    • Brighton centre is a weird old venue for the Mary Wallopers - a great band, a really good live spectacle, and its a saturday night as well which sets it all up - but its at the bloody Centre? a charmless nonsense of a conference centre? Brighton dome is a ten min walk away and is so much nicer a place to see bands its ridiculous!    ah well, i'll probably mosy along anyways . . .
    • So bad honestly. I get that bad weather happens but their communication was non existent. When you're managing crowds of tens of thousands of people, it's just not good enough. I left when Massive Attack was cancelled (the first time) and it genuinely did feel unsafe trying to get out. No one knew what was going on, people still sitting in the ground when there were hoards of people trying to leave, no crowd management at all...   I've been to PS enough times to know sometimes you need to just roll with it but this was way worse than "the bar queue was 30 minutes long".    Today will be better but still feel super disappointed.
