But looking at the big red line, the rain looks like it might be quite low as the other lines aren't all over the place? Does it depend on the pressure lines sbove, which are all over the place? Or am I reading it wrongly?

The red line is kinda misleading as it's an average, but yeah the rainfall amounts don't look too bad at all there's some chances for trouble, but nothing as massive as the floods that devastated somerset last friday, or whatever that bit of rain came to...
