In 2007 it was actually quite sunny on the Wednesday when we pitched up. I'd left my sunglasses at home and uttered the immortal line "I'll have to go and buy some more sunglasses". It then rained non stop for the rest of the weekend. This is my confession, it was all my doing

Haha. Accuweather reporting ridiculous amounts of rain now. Tonnes more than last year. And at point that was hard work!

 

This is probably just them making up for the fact that they predicted minimal rain last year. I believe consensus among weather forecasters was for a few mms, and we got over 50mm.

This is what happens when there's a load of people moaning about it being too hot!   It can't be too hot!  Or too dry!

Last year was unacceptably muddy. A few puddles my eye. Shangri La was unnavigable for most of the weekend, although that does turn into a bog if anyone does as much as spill half a pint.

that's quite a bit of rain on Friday if u add it up, and ground will be already wet from the bit on thurs,but would take it over the news reports we had last week Edited June 15, 2015 by waynewdk

3mm maybe, depends on the previous day whether the ground is bone dry and jus soaks it up,also depends on human traffic,jus a guess?
