Playing at the Opener festival in Poland weekend after Glastonbury now. Looks like it may happen !

That's where i saw them a while back, maybe 10 years ago? something like that anyway. what a depressing thought, both for me and them.

I think it means the only London date .

Stops anyone wondering about Hyde Park and other London festivals .such as Blackheath and Hackney I reckon

They were a regular at V so perhaps they may get booked for that which would be the week before !

Other Stage headliners maybe?

I was going to ask where and when people thought they would play. Their last slot 5 years ago was Pyramid sub, I can't see them being nearly as popular today (at least not on the strength of that gig, half of which was great, half of which was not) and wondered if perhaps they were more West Holts material. I don't think they'd make a good Other stage headliner, but with the bookings they've had the last few years it's clear I haven't got a clue about what they think works.

They would make an excellent Jazz World headliner , although they may think they deserve a better slot.

that's another suggestion for West Holts of an act that's headlined before.

As far as I can remember they've never repeated a headliner on that stage, and I reckon Steve still has plenty of ideas up his sleeves for acts to not need to do it.

If they were to crop up at Glasto, my guess would be as Other Stage headliner.

Every year the other stage seems to have a 90s dance/trip hop headliner. Massive Attack '14, Portishead '13, Chemical Bros '11, Orbital '10, Prodigy '09, Massive Attack '08, Chemical Bros '07.

Faithless would fit that pattern very nicely

    • Never too early to start discussing next year’s headliners right?   I’m not attending this year so thought I’d get the ball rolling as I saw Weezer have a new album out in August I’d expect them to do this or Slam Dunk next year. I mean they’re probably too big for this however I think they’re niche enough that they would maybe do it, it just depends on if the fee is a bit out of range for trees.    It’ll be the 20th anniversary next year so I’d expect some throwbacks and hopefully some big headliners/acts. James has already said he’s made a mad booking that you wouldn’t guess & I think he mentioned that he’s spent something like 80% of this years budget of next years top line already on last weeks 2 promoters 1 pod (Don’t quote me on that).    I reckon they’ll try for and get at least two (not all) of the following - Enter Shikari, AFI, Weezer, Sex Pistols Feat Frank Carter, Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls
    • for some reason last night watched series one of Prey on Netflix.   if Legends was written by Timmy Mallet (see above) then Prey seems to have been made by Mr Blobby.   why are all these British crime dramas so sh*t?
    • It'll be all over various Seatfillers based upon previous years at Sandringham
    • The Jayhawks 2026 UK Tour    Sept 15 – Brighton – Corn Exchange  Sept 16 – London – Electric Ballroom Sept 17 – Manchester – Academy 2 Sept 18 – Glasgow – The Garage    For you ‘americana’ lovers. They have a great song book.
    • Weezer just announced a new album & US tour so could add them to the headliner pool. Imagine they’ll do this or trees
