2015 releases you're looking forward to

Just watched Modest Mouse for the first ever time, they were unbelievable. Seriously, I reached levels of joy and wonderment, it was like going to my first ever gig all over again, that sort of feeling. Thought you all should know.

I'll be seeing them tonight.  What impresses me the most about the band is the degree to which they switch up their set-lists on a nightly basis.  You really never know what you're gonna get, really.

Also when it comes to individual songs, I really don't know if I'll hear a more well written song than Depreston by Courtney Barnett all year.

Couldn't agree more, brilliant song.

Has Tame Impala leaked then? Or on stream?

Whaaat?! Have you had a chance to check either of them out yet?

The Destroyer album is fantastic. Probably not as good as Kaputt, but I'll give it a few more listens before I decide that

Only listened to the Beach House album once but it's sounding pretty good. Not as shoegazey as the first single would suggest on first listen which I was kind of looking forward to but it's still good regardless

Ah sweet, will listen to Destroyer later.

I've listened to Beach House's album a few times now and I think it's superb. Sooo tempted to go to Pitchfork Paris but have tickets for them in London as a back-up

Ah I'll wait till next week then. Enjoyed 3 of the 4 songs released so far, Eventually being the one I'm not overly keen on.

It comes after Yes I'm Changing on the album, which my friend described as sounding "like The Flaming Lips crydancing at the world's saddest disco", and I really like the contrast between the two.

Trying to decide where Frank Ocean would play. I suppose it's very dependant on how well the new album does.

I think he'd be a decent candidate for Other Stage headliner (or one of these big Other subs they have) or Pyramid sub/third. I think many might underestimate him because of how few shows he's done in the UK but he'd be a big deal.

I reckon Other sub would suit? He's a big cult performer like Jamie T and... I've no idea who else subbed the Other this year. I remember Pixies and Smashing Pumpkins, though, both great lads.

Yep. I mean I think he'll be around Other headline size BUT Paolo Nutini and Ben Howard ended up subbing the stage with smaller acts with more danceable tunes and a bigger setup closing out the stage, I reckon Frank would be better suited to doing that.
