News been out for a while but flagging if interest to E&D family: Corsica Studios in south London closing its doors for the last time end of March 2026. It's a cracking little venue always playing eclectic stuff so will be missed.

They've got lots of events lined up till closing so plenty of opportunities to pay your respects before it's gone! e.g. Palms Trax popping in on Jan 17th caught my eye. I might squeeze another one before March too.

This is sad news, had some amazing nights in there, dating back to 2008 I think!

We were fortunate to be there for Jeff Mills - 20yrs of Axis night. Mills played all night. One of the very best nights I have ever had

We were regulars at Plex over the years and they will be throwing a final party on 21st Feb

I have seen Ancient Methods play for them so many times, but the chance to go again, might be too good to miss!

I know it's a long shot but it's worth trying. I'm flying all the way to London to see Underworld at Ally Pally next month with two friends and I'm looking for a general admission (standing) ticket for the show on 7th Feb (Saturday) since I could only get two tickets and not three. We are monitoring Ticketswap just in case but let me know if you or anyone close to you have a spare one, please.

You should be able to find one - but definitely look at Twickets and Official Resale - ticketswap is less used in the UK.

There should be some floating about nearer the time i'm sure, they got a lot of hype off that Boiler Room set but i'm sure you will find something 🙂 best of luck

edit: try ask in here too

I have Twickets alerts switched on for those Underworld gigs and I have seen tickets regularly become available on there so agree worth keeping an eye on there.

Also, do you mean Ally Pally? Aren’t the gigs in Brixton?

Not sure if this has been posted from Daniel Avery

Dear friends, it’s time to make the walls shake. I’m beyond excited to share the lineups for my March Phonox residency with you all.

The opening night sees the London return of Goo, my party with Richard Fearless (Death In Vegas) where we play b2b from open to close, diving into the trippiest recesses of our record bags. Come get lost with us; March 13th I’ll be playing b2b with IMOGEN, in my opinion the best of the new generation. A true superstar in the making. We’ll be joined by another unstoppable talent in DJ Mell G; March 20th I’ll be joined by the Detroit legend DJ Stingray where we’ll both be playing solo sets and b2b. The last time we played together was in a field in Philadelphia and it’s a night that’s never left my mind. Then finally, on 27th March I’ll be playing all night long and who knows, maybe joined by a couple of friends. Come celebrate the Tremor Midnight Versions, come celebrate small clubs, come celebrate nights out that might just change your life.

Tickets have been moving quickly already so we advise grabbing some sooner rather than later.

Anyone heading to see Tourist @ Brixton on Friday?

Will be first gig of the year and first at Brixton in aaaaages.

I'll be there. Looking forward to it.

Was there for Underworld at the beginning of Feb. Very sweaty.

Absolutely banging, of course, but did suffer a tiny bit with slightly sludgy sound.

Thomas Bangalter playing ally pally tonight with Fred again 😭

Went to the first Thursday show and thought I’d be okay without a ticket for tonight but gutted I turned down a ticket earlier this week.

It was unbelievable. Blasting through the Daft Punk hits - pretty much all the main ones and lots of rarities got played 🙂

I saw the clip this morning of Bangalter dropping One More Time. The unbridled joy on the faces of every single person in that room was a beautiful thing. Everything that this music and culture was created for

    • As many said before, not my favourite Primavera. sh*tty weather is something I'm not really used to when enjoying music. Poor communication (more than 1 hour long radio silence during the worst rain) didn't help, but the main problem was me. I decided to leave the venue after things seemed to be getting back to normal. Massive Attack were supposed to play again (with Hymn of the Big Wheel back on the setlist!) as were all other artists on the smaller stages (including Fcukers with one my favourite albums of the year). FOMO was at an all-time high. However, after 4 hours in the rain, I had to admit to myself that I'm not cut out for this. I wasn't even that soaked (water-proof jacket worked). I was just fed up with the rain, wind and cold and wasn't able to enjoy music anymore.   Also, they should stop ignoring the growth of some artists between signing them up and their actual performing. Both PinkPantheress and Ninajirachi sets were ruined for me by completely inadequate stage choice.   However, I felt very much the same way after the 2022 edition and have thoroughly enjoyed all subsequent editions. So I'm still buying early bird tickets for 2027 and hoping this was a hiccup not the start of a downward trend.
    • I will definitely be buying a 2027 early bird pass, partially because of the priority reservation privileges for the Ciutat sets. Hopefully the organization will take action to improve upon this year's failings. Because I thought the free water options and sound quality were an improvement over last year, so clearly they can actually implement positive changes.   I also hope all the douchebag chompers get in the sea, cause I was more bothered by them than in the past few years.   Highlights: The Cure, Ninajirachi, Knocked Loose, Current 93, Blood Orange.
    • Similar feelings to a few others on here. Not my personal favourite edition but a long way from giving up on it. Felt overcrowded at times and there are just too many people there that don't seem to like music that much! Hardly went to main stages which was the plan. Highlights Ralphie Choo, rusowsky, Gorillaz, Geese, Gelli Haha, The Sophs, PinkPantheress, Dijon. Accommodation booked for next year. Thanks for your company and comments over the past year.
