I can’t see this happening in terms of crowd control now. They are closing the Coachella main stage on Sunday night…

Unless it’s a TBA slot and doesn’t get announced. I still think it would be dangerous.

Whilst I agree with crowd control issues I can’t see that being anywhere other than Arcadia

Anyone got any thoughts/hope that ANOTR could be knocking about somewhere and still could be announced? Noticed here they do a few consecutive nights in other countries but I think if they were going to play they’d have probably been somewhere on the Silver Hayes announcement.

Ben Hemsley will be chocka if they book him

Crowds just not really there at glasto tbh

Michael Bibi would be chocka at most other fests on a stage SH size but at glasto will be fine. same with ben helmsey

Busier than Calvin? Surely no way?

Remember, we're a self-selected group in here. Fred Again is on the rise and v popular, but your average non-dance head punter will 💯 know Calvin Harris' stuff (don't get me started) and love the idea of going to that, especially on the spider. I don't think that FT/Sk/FA have the same cut-through do they? Or am I way off there?

Also Four Tet plays about 5 sets every year and Fred will have played the day before subbing other (a more accessible / less clash heavy time most likely)

@GrumpyRaver any luck mate?

Fucking christ. Well that's ass

Tbh, I'm sure sooner or later he'll be on the farm. One of the bigger DJ's (that are only WHP/Printworks headline level) that hasn't played before, and he is having a massive rise atm, whilst even getting recognition from the likes of Calvin Harris - would be shocked if he's not booked next year. In a similar camp (think I posted this months ago) but Patrick Topping and someone who works closely with him confirmed to me that he isn't at Glastonbury either this year, but he's hoping to return soon.

Yeah, only recently blown up into the mainstream, been about for a couple of years, mainly doing smaller clubs and supporting at Trick events.

Towards the end of last year his size has grown considerably, NYE WHP having to have the concourse closed off due to it being so busy then to selling out his own night at WHP pretty much instantly (advertised as that, but are still VIP tickets at time of posting), two nights at Blackstone, sold out UK club tour etc etc. Would be very shocked if he isn't there next year. I honestly think he's gonna end up being a bigger artist than Patrick Topping (out of that group).

    • I mean she's never going to admit it, but of course she would do a deal...same as Labour would with lib-dems/greens if meant getting into government.
    • They probably do make more from the festival. But take a look at an aerial photo from any year - there's always a few fields that would be viable for festival related use yet are left empty. I guess they just don't want to deal with the associated hassle.
