I think Joy Orbison only has 1 announced set so far, a b2b, so i'd assume he'll be in there again.

Seth, Midland, Eats Everything, Richy Ahmed, Pa**ick T*pping, Skream, Jasper James too probably.

Going to go on record as saying Ahmed and Topping definitely won't be in The Beat Hotel

Something tells me Bicep might take a big slot on beat hotel since they are only doing one set at the moment.

id imagine Peggy gou, shanti Celeste will be on there too.

I think jackmaster will be on Stonebridge bar for mastermix.

give me Ben UFO b2b Joy Orbison late on the Sunday and I'm happy

Just had a listen to Patrick Topping on his  Soundcloud. Wow that is so far removed from what I would even consider listening to. What genre is that? Handbag house? Fuck me. Is that what's big these days? Utterly soulless, no shape and journey to the set. Coked up, dress code smart shoes drivel.

Sadly, that's what is top of the pops at the moment, dan, and so has been booked in abundance for GF. It's cheesy tech-house, playing to (IMO, natch) the lowest common denominator of utterly easily pleased clubbers. Gah, i mustn't let it get to me. I should just be pleased that there'll be plenty of room at the brilliant sets and that everyone who has chosen to go there will be a kindred spirit...

Paul Van Dyks new single "Touched By Heaven" is proper good trance. You don't hear it much anymore. Would like to hear something similar at Glastonbury

Are there any Trance DJs playing? I have no idea about who plays what, never have really, but I do enjoy trance whenever it's on.

Die hard fan, me.

Wasn't feeling Prydz last night, thought EPIC was a massive let down. Been watching videos of it today though and it looked absolutely banging. Enjoyed watching videos of it more than actually being there weirdly.

Its been getting slated on the Prydz reddit as well, however they all seem like megafans and megafans of 'x' always hate 'x's most recent 'y'

Glade area usually. Glade lounge had a few progressive and trance acts last year.

    • TOP 10 acts (top 5 in bold😞   Blood Orange (ciutat)   Guitarricadelafuente   Oklou - Looks like I'm capable of enjoying music in the rain after all, just not the whole night.   Rilo Kiley   The Cure   Jade   Depresión Sonora   Gelli Haha (Parc del Forum) - Her music never really clicked with me. Until I saw her live.   MARINA   Six Sex (ciutat) - I was shocked how supersmall the venue was and that almost everyone (except for me) knew every word of every song (including the ones that were released this weekend!).   Honorable mention:   Ashnikko - missed the first 15 minutes (because of Gelli Haha) and I'm not really a fan of her music, but the show was an absolute blast.
    • Totally agree about PinkPantheress stage choice. 'Luckily' for me, one of my main targets, fakemink, was absolutely awful, meaning that I left early and was in a surprisingly good spot at Cupra before it got totally packed.
    • As many said before, not my favourite Primavera. sh*tty weather is something I'm not really used to when enjoying music. Poor communication (more than 1 hour long radio silence during the worst rain) didn't help, but the main problem was me. I decided to leave the venue after things seemed to be getting back to normal. Massive Attack were supposed to play again (with Hymn of the Big Wheel back on the setlist!) as were all other artists on the smaller stages (including Fcukers with one my favourite albums of the year). FOMO was at an all-time high. However, after 4 hours in the rain, I had to admit to myself that I'm not cut out for this. I wasn't even that soaked (water-proof jacket worked). I was just fed up with the rain, wind and cold and wasn't able to enjoy music anymore.   Also, they should stop ignoring the growth of some artists between signing them up and their actual performance. Both PinkPantheress and Ninajirachi sets were ruined for me by completely inadequate stage choice.   However, I felt very much the same way after the 2022 edition and have thoroughly enjoyed all subsequent editions. So I'm still buying early bird tickets for 2027 and hoping this was a hiccup not the start of a downward trend.
    • I will definitely be buying a 2027 early bird pass, partially because of the priority reservation privileges for the Ciutat sets. Hopefully the organization will take action to improve upon this year's failings. Because I thought the free water options and sound quality were an improvement over last year, so clearly they can actually implement positive changes.   I also hope all the douchebag chompers get in the sea, cause I was more bothered by them than in the past few years.   Highlights: The Cure, Ninajirachi, Knocked Loose, Current 93, Blood Orange.
    • Similar feelings to a few others on here. Not my personal favourite edition but a long way from giving up on it. Felt overcrowded at times and there are just too many people there that don't seem to like music that much! Hardly went to main stages which was the plan. Highlights Ralphie Choo, rusowsky, Gorillaz, Geese, Gelli Haha, The Sophs, PinkPantheress, Dijon. Accommodation booked for next year. Thanks for your company and comments over the past year.
