FloorFiller
Amazing the amount of "there my favourite band ever fans" that joined up last night and asked for a code! i thought this, cheeky bastards!

willutalk
I'm just gunna wait until the announce an arena tour. And I really am not spontaneous enough to track across the country to see a band given less than two weeks notice.
Ipayne
Wonder if these gigs could be the alternative to the 'Special 30th Anniversary gigs' the band talked about doing setlists including rarities like they did at the Zepp in Tokyo. I'll be absolutely kicking myself if so!

Ipayne
Awesome. Verse is a bit weird but the rest I absolutely loved on first listen.

jonodillieono
I had such such such high hopes and then the first lyric was "love" and they all went away Came back with the chorus though, the verses are meh but I love the chorus
Gucci Piggy
Sounds like a decent Uprising. Not as heavy as I was expecting/hoping, really. Riff saves it.
GlastoSimon
Love it musically, but lyrically it's cheesy as hell! Guess that's kind of expected though... Edited March 12, 2015 by GlastoSimon
CHRLY
"Your ass belongs to me" is where it lost me
Rose-Colored Boy
It's hardly screamo, is it. Could easily fit on BH&R or maybe even The Resistance. It's a nice song but not convinced it'll win over the unhappy Download regulars etc.
Ipayne
I think besides a few songs, Muse have never been the best lyrically so as you say it's expected. Enjoying the song more with each listen to be honest!
jonodillieono
It worried me that this is the song that's too much for radio, I'm worried at how MOR Dead Inside is going to be then if this is the hardcore one
The Placid Casual
Brilliant chorus, this track is far better than the first stuff they put out from the last two albums. The verses are a bit naff which lets it down. Not really a return to form, but I'm optimistic of the album
thewayiam
Love it musically, but lyrically it's cheesy as hell! Guess that's kind of expected though... Haha Download are going to love this! It's hardly screamo, is it. Could easily fit on BH&R or maybe even The Resistance. It's a nice song but not convinced it'll win over the unhappy Download regulars etc. It's not good enough for a BH&R song. My thoughts exactly
Lubic
That riff is one of the first things I ever learnt on guitar! So it's hard to judge the rest of the song. Sounds pretty beefy being blasted through my headphones on the commute home anyway.
GlastoSimon
Haha Download are going to love this! Download doesn't really do the heavy stuff anymore anyway does it? Kiss, 30 Seconds to Mars and Fall Out Boy playing in the last three years suggests not - so this new Muse song is probably about their level
dentalplan
It's bad but at least it's laughably bad.
The Placid Casual
"Your ass belongs to me" is where it lost me It works well. That whole chorus is brilliant. If the chorus wasn't lame, I'd go as far as calling it a return to form. They're going the right way anyway. Only United States, MK Ultra, Unnatural Selection and Panic Station better that off the last two albums for me.
Icewulf
"Blah Blah Blah this is shit Blah Blah Blah not up to my standards" Just the usual shite people spout on this forum then. Well I fucking love it. Muse have never been strong lyrically. This is no worse than anything else they've written. And it's supposed to be ironic anyway, just like the use of the word Ass, because it's taking the piss out of US military commanders. It's also considerably heavier than most of their recent output, and comparing this to Fall Out Boy is just an absolute joke. I'm by no means a Muse fan, they lost me years ago when they started putting out singles like Madness and Supermassive Black Hole. But this has started winning me round. Just sick of all the negativity round here. #irony

Gucci Piggy
It worried me that this is the song that's too much for radio, I'm worried at how MOR Dead Inside is going to be then if this is the hardcore one Was he talking about the first single or Psycho when he said this? I know we all assumed the first single was Psycho so probably would have thought of them as one and the same. I think three possible scenarios are: 1. He said first single and is actually talking about Dead Inside. 2. He said Psycho, and what he meant by "too offensive for radio" was that the record company wanted a more accessible song for first single (although this is hugely accessible). 3. He was chatting shit. There's no way that's too offensive for radio.
