Think Neil said it's because Fleetwood Mac were asking for a price that Glasto weren't prepared to pay

Should they be touring at all again next year, I think they'll finally do it.

Then it's definitely Noel. Case closed.

I can't see the mentioned gig date for Sunday in the Netherlands for Weller but I can't see it being anyone else anyway, I never thought it'd be Weller either way, just not big enough for it. Noel and Daltry fits well and the collaboration that still wasn't completely denied still has a chance.

Just realised, at the V&A Michael said the headliner couldn't be announced because they had "clashing" dates (IIRC). At the time I thought it was just an odd way of saying they had other dates that still needed to sell tickets, but perhaps he did literally mean they had clashing dates which needed to be resolved first.

Yeah, that would very much apply to The Who. No one would take that look on things as it's not expected. I did post on here recently though which I got pulled up on for, as much as The Sun are shit with a lot of things, music fest wise, they don't have such a bad rep.

An artist with clashing dates? Anyone suggested Muse? ;)

Not a lot of point, while the Coldplay info was wrong, Neil wouldn't TBC The Who without thinking it's defo them this time. Add to that the confirmation that The Who in France will only be one date now and moved back so 2 days after the Sunday and the Amsterdam date moved back a day so they'd do 28th, 30th and the 2nd of July so no back to back date either.

Anyone got an idea of who will be headlining the other stage Saturday? I'm not a fan of kanyeso am hoping for a something more to my liking on a different stage.

Ben Howard is looking the most likely at the moment, unless another act gets announced and he subs the Other. I'm hoping for the latter as I really want to see Ben before going to see Kanye.

don't see how there can only be 1 date, there's no way of squeezing 2 sold out shows into 1, they won't have that many people returning tickets.

they'll either have to shuffle Amsterdam on a bit further, or come back for another Paris show some other time.

assuming they don't just completely cancel one of them...

That's annoying as I'm not keen on him either, for me it's such a shame the vaccines clash with foo's if they were on the Saturday it would have been perfect for me.

doubt The Vaccines are gonna clash with Foos - third on Other that day is my best guess so probably finish a while before Foos are on

    • The only number I can find is 90k, but it doesn't really break it down in the way you're asking so it is up in the air in that regard. My only thing here is that I don't think Leeds is in danger or is flagging in sales. I thought last year had an awful lineup so I opted out but apparently a hell of a lot of people decided to go, so I really do believe it is just us lot all being out of touch with what the modern R&L audience wants.   I do think this year has a good lineup although I know a lot of people on here disagree with that, so I am gonna be there and we shall see what it is like on the ground this year in terms of attendance.
    • RIP David Hockney, what an incredible talent.

    • Hi, I'm selling 1 regular weekend ticket for 420 euros, which is the price I bought it for through TicketSwap (when I sell it there again, I can only get back 350 euros because of their ridiculous service fees..). Can transfer the ticket through Ticketmaster after Paypal payment. Feel free to send a DM!
