Well I'm just trusting other people's words on it. It seems consistent with the small bandname gap on the poster.

Yeah. I don't like it, personally. Seems that there are current acts working hard and champing at the bit to get to the top of the lineup but instead it's decidedly better to have to play by the rules of these mega acts that have only just heard about Glastonbury or something.

edit: I mean, if it's true, that is. I'm not convinced.

I feel sorry for Glastonbury if anything - that they feel like they are putting on less of a festival if there's no gigantic headliner

Catch 22, book gigantic headliners and make yourself the best festival in the world. But then people expect gigantic headliners every year

Fleetwood Mac doing IOW - contractual issues.

Playing O2 Arena - '27 and 28 May and 22, 24 26 and 27 June (SATURDAY OF GLASTONBURY) 2015'.

Not in Leeds until Tuesday 30th their next show.

Sunday slot is free.

Been trying to book for years.

That all makes sense.

Ohh i really hope they don't tempt us with the Mac just to let us down again!

There weren't any gigantic headliners last year so anyone expecting that is almost as much of a tit as Neil Lonsdale.

Metallica are gigantic. Regardless if they play a lot of festivals they've been around for a long time

Nobody else think that the delay in announcing is something to do with BST selling so slowly, Glasto don't seem to know when they're going to announce and this could be due to BST not knowing when they'll have sold enough... Just a thought

Would BST have that much contract power over GF to say 'you are under a NDA until we sell enough tickets'?

I can't see it
