I wouldn't say I was local as such - just someone who knows some people. As for the lack of anything, it is odd. Is this the latest a line up has been announced before?

Nah, always used to be in June.

In 2009, it was May 25.

It has only been April-ish time since 2010.

To be fair if you got a ticket and have been dead excited about going then I can't see any reason for missing the payment date

because people are stupid (and also might have other things going on in their lives right now - a few reminders here and there wouldn't go amiss, just in case)

Yes- the "big" acts are either staying quiet or they are none existent.

Not quite true. Florence and the Machine, Ben Howard, Paloma Faith, Alabama Shakes and Frank Turner all gave the game away and they'll all be in big slots, one of them probably subbing the Pyramid. Edited by Zac Quinn

Has anyone ever looked back at a previous Glastonbury they've been to and thought fuck...why did I see that band instead of another? Mines Glasto 1999...saw Basement Jaxx headline Other Stage while David Bowie was on Pyramid. Regret!

Last year they must have thought everybody was retarded, because they made 4 tweets about the deadline ( Had too go back and check)

something weird is going on

I've heard Bowie in 99 was a bit of a non-event.

Oh yeah I mean I don't doubt peoples stupidity or forgetfulness, I think I often forget that not everyone with a ticket to pay off is a Glastonbury obsessive.

Did not know any of these self confirmed? Flo laughed when she was asked. All the rest are not as big as I'm thinking when I say big self confirmations I mean surprise confirmations. You look at all them and none of them are a surprise. I just presumed they would be there somewhere anyway.

    • Judging by last night at Wembley, Luke Combs should be in the conversation of headliner. The UK is having a moment with country music so I don't think it would be particularly left field either.

    • It feels really busy this year, loads of big groups of youngsters too. Slightly different vibe to previous years I've been. As with Tramlines, they're very chatty during sets and there's a constant stream of them in and out of the crowd... definitely feeling my age 😂   The Quarry stage I think is a lot smaller than previous years - seems similar size to Squid/Leadmill. Some sets have been difficult to get in.   I think I've reached my limit with mid-tier indie guitar bands. There's been quite a few this weekend where I've gone over to see them then walked away after 20 mins. Surprisingly, enjoyed the Fratellis set the most in this genre. Probably getting on for 20 years since I last saw them. Wasn't expecting them to do Yes Sir, I Can Boogie, which was fab!   Hugely enjoyed the Happy Mondays yesterday, and same but different with Radio Free Alice who I saw again on Friday, following Tramlines last weekend. A big run of pop acts today - Scissor Sisters will be fantastic!
    • I have a spare campervan pass to get rid of.  unable to use Kaboodle as it is only entry that they re-sell
