Well I finished work at 5 then went to the gym until 7 takes about 20 mins to drive home. once home i had tea then having religiously studied this thread since 9am this morning until 5pm when i left work i typed that as there was a 3 hour period when god knows how many pages of posts had been put up.

To be fair if i've typed that before it's probably due to being not on the forum / thread for a couple of hours. It's fast paced in here at points n if you miss them you can be miles behind!

Went to the gym for 2 hours? Not to be trusted ;)

'K, no worries...just wondered.

Wasn't 'calling you out' or anything, obviously...just wondered how the whole thing panned out.

By the time 10 rolls around I will have finished this weeks episode of fortitude and finished a bottle of wine, any further accomplishments will be a bonus in truth

I'm loving Fortitude mind. Great telly.

I've neglected Twitter and this place is now my new timeline.

It wasn't me who was there but a friend of mine so i don't know every detail but they were aiming for tonight but it was very complicated. 10pm as a time was mentioned.

I believe they wanted to announce it tonight, JoeyTrav isn't winding anyone up. Can promise you that. He wouldn't.

Chatting to friend of a friend in the pub earlier who is involved with doing the festival website. I tried to probe him for some info but he said that its all kept under wraps and that even though they are responsible for the website they would only find out after its released the festival.

That's more or less all I can say. I think there was the possibility something could have been released. It hasn't happened but they are ready - he'd had a busy day!

By the way he was very gracious as always. Does lots of great work locally.

Good man Strummer

Hopefully if they are ready to go and there was potential for tonight, it might be just round the corner

    • Judging by last night at Wembley, Luke Combs should be in the conversation of headliner. The UK is having a moment with country music so I don't think it would be particularly left field either.

    • It feels really busy this year, loads of big groups of youngsters too. Slightly different vibe to previous years I've been. As with Tramlines, they're very chatty during sets and there's a constant stream of them in and out of the crowd... definitely feeling my age 😂   The Quarry stage I think is a lot smaller than previous years - seems similar size to Squid/Leadmill. Some sets have been difficult to get in.   I think I've reached my limit with mid-tier indie guitar bands. There's been quite a few this weekend where I've gone over to see them then walked away after 20 mins. Surprisingly, enjoyed the Fratellis set the most in this genre. Probably getting on for 20 years since I last saw them. Wasn't expecting them to do Yes Sir, I Can Boogie, which was fab!   Hugely enjoyed the Happy Mondays yesterday, and same but different with Radio Free Alice who I saw again on Friday, following Tramlines last weekend. A big run of pop acts today - Scissor Sisters will be fantastic!
    • I have a spare campervan pass to get rid of.  unable to use Kaboodle as it is only entry that they re-sell
