You can still get a refund on tickets up until 8th May anyway cant you, so paying off today without knowing the line up doesnt really matter as you can still get a refund if the line up comes out and it matters to you that much that you dont want to go

I think it's basically you either pay or your ticket is automatically refunded once the window closes

I'm paying the remainder for my ticket today regardless of line ups. Glastonbury Festival is about experience not bands (well maybe it is about bands too!) but really, for me it's about spending 5 days in Hobbiton at Bilbo's 111th birthday. Still hope P***** headlines Sunday mind!

That's today yes, so if you dont pay the balance, your ticket goes back in the pot and you get a refund minus an admin charge.

However, after youve paid today, you can still cancel and get a refund until midnight May 8th

Oh right so you can still pay the full ticket price and get it refunded as long as it's today?

You have a week from today to pay your ticket balance off.

Once you've done that, you can still cancel your ticket and get a refund (£15 charge) until midnight 8th May

Right ok, and if you don't pay at all then it's automatically refunded anyway

Noel has ruled himself out (not sure if that was already known)

Just said on 6music "i'll be playing in Austria, for a far more handsome fee"

Edit: not that I hope anyone thought he'd be headlining.

Both those things are true.

If it really is the Foofs and Rudimental on the Friday I'm hoping for B&S up The Park.

In that case I'd want one of B&S in The Park or Suede on the JP Friday night.

Seeing the Foos the week before at Wembley and don't really want to see them twice.

    • We'll see. Bristol and Leeds are both massively overdue big public transport investment - 2 of the cities with the worst transport infrastructure per capita in Western Europe. If this works to help support investment projects great and fair play to Burnham.
    • The Bródy Day was his idea because Sziget has always been late when it comes to this kind of concert. They would only organize farewell performances or tribute shows after an artist had passed away. Since Bródy is one of the country's greatest singer-songwriters, they wanted to honor him while he is still alive. (He didn't say it exactly like that, but the man is 80 and has just stopped playing large concerts.) He never understood why anyone would focus exclusively on one generation, especially Gen Z, who have less disposable income, drink less, and are, in his words, "afraid of partying." He explained that in the past, people loved festivals because of the nonstop partying, whereas many younger people today find that experience overwhelming or exhausting. That's one of the reasons why Sziget will introduce more chill zones and sensory-friendly spaces. They also want to attract older generations, who are generally more willing and able to spend money. The Sziget Icons days are aimed at this audience, and in the future they hope to create a more balanced lineup that appeals to people over 35 as well.   It was a long interview. If anything else comes to mind, I'll share it.
    • Maybe you need a groovy mayor who can get you the money.   Anyway, looks like mayors going to get a whole load of fiscal devolution and greater powers...so best everyone gets one, a decent one, and get a load of Madchesterism.
