Madonna fits the paradigm I posted a few weeks back. Every Glastonbury in the 2010s has fit this pattern; one headliner I love, one I can't stand, one I can take or leave. We have the love in Kanye form, I hate the Foo Fighters, and I have mixed feelings on Madonna. We've cracked it, efests, great work.

that PP 16/1 looks pretty great right now, wish id snapped it up while it was still round

I don't know if it ever was around. I went on seconds after it was posted about to try and see some Flo or Prince odds but it came up as closed.

this makes me want to cry.

It's pretty shit but I think it was back from when she was an indie darling and covering Beirut and Cold War Kids and stuff. Any The Rat acoustic cover is gonna be woeful. :P

There is a band we may get in the line up. I really hope so but their best output in recent years is their side project French Style Furs. Brilliant album that.

Hypothetically

Foo Fighters

Florence and The Machine

Kanye West

Pharrell Williams

Madonna

Taylor Swift

Just seems ridiculously strong to me, I don't think I've ever seen a top 6 that strong at any festival ever - would rival big weekend in terms of getting massive acts to play lower than headline.

Why I can't see that happening, because that would massively exceed 2011 in terms of super stardom bands and headliners.

That certainly looks like a Radio One big weekend set of acts.

oh god i'm away for a day and now Madonna's name's being thrown about again. let this madness end (although i've had a nagging feeling in the back of my head for a few weeks now that it'd end up being her and flabbergast us all). would be an amazing booking anyway (even though the performance may not...)

Big names but that'd go down like a lead balloon

To me that looks absolutely dreadful, aside from the foos.

it being Madonna would also lend favour to the 'more females on the lineup' thingy. what better way to promote such an idea than getting THE female musician icon at the top? (although i suppose Flo would do the same to a lesser effect)

i'd love it to be Madonna (in greatest hits form) but can't help feel that it has the potential to be a huge disaster (or at least, very underwhelming), whereas with Prince there's almost zero chance of that, so yeah, still Prince please

    • Hi Everyone!   I need your help. I'm trying work out who was playing at The Wishing Well at 3am on the Monday morning at the 2025 festival - this was once the official setlist had ended. The music was down tempo, bass heavy, kept evolving, just mesmerising. Anyone have any ideas? and/or was there as well?
